Pine Hill Stock Horses

An absolutely gorgeous early spring day with the boys. I took Jack and his son Charlie (Pinehill Bold Jack 2021) down to the Yack Riding Club grounds for a bit of an outing. A great opportunity to practice some working eq obstacles and canter work for Jack, and a really lovely first outing under saddle for Charlie. He was wonderful. And I didn’t realise how bum high he still is! Still some growing to do!

Charlie is coming up for sale in a month once I finish installing the basics.

When genetics are strong! The two chestnuts are half brothers, both by Jack (also pictured in the second photo).

This is Pinehill Tigerlily (Sophie). She’s just been weaned and is coping pretty well with the whole process. Sophie is out of Emugully Tiona HSH and by Pipersrun Captain Thunderbolt. She’s a beautiful big filly and we’re very excited to see how she develops.

Poppy the toy poodle (featured in orange and blue) is Sophie’s little mate. Though they’re still working on how to play nicely together!

Poor Jack. His 2yo son, c**t Pinehill Captain Moonlite, has a serious oral fixation. He loves pulling Jack’s neckrug off which sucks for Jack given he has a trace clip and no winter coat on his neck!

Pine Hill Stockhorses is proud to present Pinehill Halcyon Days, a beautiful palomino 2yo filly by Pegasus Lodge Silver Sovereign out of Roseridge Sandy. This girl is registered with ASHS and is bred for anything.

She’s got a cracking temperament and lovely straight movement. Would suit showing, adult riding, anything. Dam is polocrosse bred, sire has a lot of progeny on the ground in many different disciplines.

Not broken, very quiet to handle. Taught to lead, hard tie and float. Teeth done, regularly wormed. Good doer with excellent feet.

I’d keep her but she’s just a bit small. Will mature 14.2-14.3hh. Very good confirmation, would suit breeding. Beautiful deep gold colour.

11🥕🥕🥕 located in Beechworth VIC.

We have space for horses needing evacuation from fire areas. It’s not glamorous - no stables or private paddocks - but horse-safe fencing, water and safety from the fire areas!

Please get in touch if you need to evacuate horses

This little cutie is playing hard to get! She’ll sidle up close enough to chew on my sleeve but has yet to discover the delights of butt scratches 🙄 We still need a proper name for Sophie…maybe that’s the problem 🤷🏽‍♀️

Love this!

Nikki Lyons's clippers started humming at 6am. Twelve hours later, she was a world record holder.
