It’s been a big week on the farm, planting our Garlic crop and unloading Straw ready to mulch the garlic and tuck it in for winter. The mulch protects the soil and helps make the weeding manageable as harvest time is almost 7 months away in November.
We have had over 30mm of rain today so I’m very thankful.

Don't be afraid to order multiple bulbs from us this season - our garlic will last well until April, and can easily be eaten until June. Cloves will be firm and fresh - not like what is available at certain large retailers!

It’s been a hot and dry Feb so far this year, time to turn in our cover crop so we are ready to plant our next garlic crop in late March. We still have Certified Biodynamic Garlic available that will store well till the end of April and even longer. Our website link is below.

Grown in Beechworth, our delicious garlic is available now for eating and planting. We use the Demeter Biodynamic Method to improve soil and crop health, the way nature intended. Our Purple Garlic is a hard neck variety, carefully harvested and cured to ensure maximum freshness and flavour. Bulbs will last well until April.
