Dill & Mustard Sauerkraut!

Also known as pickle kraut on the mean streets of Beechworth, this Sauerkraut is softer and a little sweeter than its Classic counterpart.

Made with just four ingredients; Cabbage, Salt, Dill seed & Mustard seed. It is fermented for at least 30 days & is unpasteurised.

It’s perfect if you’re just looking to get into fermented vegetables with its milder flavour. Great to put on a charcuterie board, with lighter foods like chicken or fish… or if you’re like me it’s the perfect choice if you want to eat a bowl of sauerkraut on the couch instead of demolishing an entire bag of chips.

This product can only be bought directly from me, either at a market or from the online store. Don’t forget if you live in Beechworth there’s free delivery and if you’re a little bit further out around Albury or Wangaratta there’s a small delivery fee

Patch prep 2026!

Sometimes you’ve just got to get out in the sunshine! All the years I’ve been growing out at Murmungee Basin Produce I’ve had grand plans of being prepared early for the chilli season… finally this year I’m off to a good start!

Nothing too crazy, just cutting the grass and cape w**d down so it doesn’t get the chance to spread seed everywhere but if I can get into the habit of quickly ducking out there I should make my life way easier when it comes time to plant. Although hopefully next time I’ll do a better job of warring the right outfit and not painting myself or my car in little grass biddies

This year's wrap party has become a whole lot cooler.
We are pleased to embrace the return of Planet of the 8s to live shows, and even more excited that they are coming to wrap up a huge weekend of Metal in the Mountains with a Sunday show at Tanswell's. The peaceful serenity of a lazy Sunday arvo at the pub is enhanced by the enormous sound of this legendary outfit. It's going to be an absolute cracker of a show, kicking off with the eerie and mysterious Gloaming.
