As I’m sitting here reflecting it’s been a honour to be an owner of Beenleigh Butchery and Beenleigh Bacon n Ham for the last 19 years alongside my late husband Wayne Hall, sister-in-law Donna Brooks and brother-in-law Brett Brooks.
I would like to say a heartfelt thank you to all of our staff past and present from butchers, bacon production girls, office staff to delivery drivers, but especially 2 long term employees Kim Denby and Daniel Day. Thank you for not just turning up each day but working with and alongside us.
Thank you to all of customers for your patronage from our retail sales and our wholesale customers we appreciate your support and custom.
I know the local community will miss the retail store but most of all I think that wide spread people are going to miss our 100% Australian owned and produced Bacon and Ham.
It has been a privilege to serve all our customers far and wide for almost two decades from a business that was started back in 1898 and for that I say thank you!

As the owners of Beenleigh Butchery, Beenleigh Bacon & Ham for the past 19 years, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to our many fantastic retail and wholesale customers who we have had the pleasure of serving.

Over the years, we have proudly served customers and wholesalers from the Whitsundays in the north to Springsure and Roma in the west along with our many local retail customers, butchers, pubs and clubs, schools and sporting teams. To you, we say thank you for your loyal custom and support, it has been a privilege.

As some of you may already be aware, in July 2024 the Department of Transport and Main Roads issued a Notice of Intention to Resume the premises, 60 a George Street, Beenleigh, where we operate our business Beenleigh Butchery, Beenleigh Bacon & Ham. The purpose of this resumption is for the Logan and Gold Coast Faster Rail Project.

In June 2025 we received the Taking of the Land Notice, which states we need to vacate the premises.

Due to the lack of suitable premises availability and with the short timeframe, after much consideration and deliberation, we have decided to take this opportunity to not relocate.

After proudly being recognised with countless awards for our quality products and having worked at Beenleigh Butchery for the last 40 years, we are ready to step back, recharge, and reflect on what lies ahead for us.

Therefore, our last day of trade will be Saturday 2nd August 2025.

Again, we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for your support and wish you well.
