- Introducing our FIG JAM -

Made with locally grown figs, the new addition to our Favourites Range will not disappoint. Our thick and juicy jam is now one of our favourites, best enjoyed the simple way with some tasty cheddar on a cracker.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Chris and John from Fruits of the Farm Beerwah for their kind supply of the best grown figs in Queensland.

You can pick up a jar of Fig Jam at our Beerwah Tower Green Market on Saturday, March 12th.

Our delicious selection of preserves and butters are all handmade in small batches using the freshest Australian ingredients. 100% natural and Queensland made.

At the Beerwah QCWA only the best locally grown and freshest natural ingredients make it into our products. Our members personally select produce from local farmers to create some of the region's tastiest homemade jams, butters and relishes.

The recipes feature all natural ingredients, nothing artificial, made with love for all to enjoy. A pot of homemade preserve always beats shop bought and purchasing a QCWA Beerwah product helps us to assist women through all life stages and build stronger communities.

Well! The season is finally at an end, our trees have given all they have to give and lychee time for us is now at an end.

A massive thank you to all those who supported us by buying our fruit, we really hope you enjoyed everything you got from us. This season wasn’t as large as we’d hoped, with a fraction on the trees compared to 2020/2021 season. But!! 2022/2023 is looking promising already with some of our trees getting an early prune we may have a nice production on our hands.

Again thanks to everyone, time for the home team to get all the maintenance back in order and then take a breather. Though the season wasn’t huge it meant we took on little extra help so has meant it was still busy season for us.

Thanks everyone and we hope to see you in December 🤞🏽

Hi to all our fans out there! We have been getting more and more questions and people stopping by after our fruit!

Unfortunately our first two varieties, the Tai So and Bengal have not produced on a large scale this year. Because of this it is not viable for us to open our shed direct to the public just yet. We will certainly be opening to the public when our Kwai Mai Pink *crowd favourite* variety are ready, typically the second week - middle of Jan.

This may change and we may open a day here and there between then. *keep your eyes peeled for our story posts*

On a positive note, our fig trees are looking healthy and seems they should be producing in abundance this year! Look forward to being able to officially open to you all for business and see your happy belly’s and satisfied faces.

What a season!! First off a massive thank you to all of our customers who showed up and supported us through purchasing our fruit. We saw lots of familiar faces of customers who continue to pop in year after year and hundreds of fresh new customers!

We hope you have all had pleasant experiences with our fruit and that we will be able to see and serve you again next summer. Our trees were ever so generous with this harvest and gave us the biggest year to date.

For us it has been 9 very long and hard weeks filled with early mornings, daily picking and processing, ton upon ton of packing, machinery break downs, steaming hot days and some miserably wet days thrown in! It’s not over for us yet though, we have to get our pruning done now in preparation for the year to come. Farming is a hard lifestyle not suited to everyone, those that do it tend to love it though. The beauty we get to see on a daily basis and the enjoyment during the slow times are more then enough but that is trumped by seeing the support and reinforced through the postitive feed back we receive.

Again, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! We hope to see you again next summer.

Stay tuned as we may have some things happen through the year.

Our crop is slowly coming to an end. We still have at least a couple of weeks left but keep in mind that it will be 10 months till our beautiful lychees will be back! So make sure you get your fix in for the year while you can, lychees do freeze incredibly well! Best to knock out all the effort and peel and de-seed them first so you can pull some out to use at your discretion!

Also plenty of amazing lychee liqueur recipes out there.

We are still open 7 days a week, 8am - 5pm. 38 Alfs Pinch Road, Beerwah. No Eftpos facilities available.

That’s a wrap!

The Bengal are done and dusted! As long as all goes in our favour we will have these again just in time for New Year’s Eve martini’s! Thanks everyone who can in and enjoyed a punnet *of 5* of these.

We will have plenty of Kwai Mai Pink available everyday till they too have all been gobbled up. Roughly 3-4 weeks left of lychees with one last variety yet to come!

On the way out! Bye bye Bengal.

Our crop of Bengal is near its end! We have a few days of grabbing what’s left on our ever so generous trees.

If you love the Bengal get in quick as any day now will be the end of them for the year, or at least till Christmas! Our Kwai Mai Pink also know as B3 *Bosworth 3* are ready for harvest though! Once the Bengal are gone the Kwai Mai will be available.

Kwai Mai Pink should hit the shed for public sales tomorrow or Wednesday but will post and confirm. As always we are open at 8am till 5pm unless we sell out early, located at 38 Alfs Pinch Road, Beerwah. Our sign will be out front, head down our gravel driveway just after the old shed and pull up a park and head in for your fresh lychees out of our cold room.

It’s almost time! Our Kwai Mai Pink are getting closer and closer by the day. We will be testing and watching them closely over the next week to ensure we don’t start harvesting them until the time is right! Kwai Mai Pink/Bosworth 3 are a deliciously sweet variety, small seed, round in shape, beautiful red colour and our second last variety to be harvested.

We will keep you all posted so you know the exact day they are available! In the mean time we are still out everyday picking and packing from our beautiful Bengal variety and they are available from our shed shop everyday of the week, 8am - 5pm! Feel free to contact us through Facebook or IG for any enquires, bulk orders or availability of an out of hours collection. 🙂

Our Bengal Variety is now in full swing! Super sweet and super juicy with an amazing vibrant red colour.

We still have some limited Tai So available as we strip the last of the trees, no guarantees on stock with Tai So in the coming days.

Thanks and Happy New Year from the Fruits of the Farm family ❤️🥳

Our Bengal are showing some amazing colour at the moment. Give them a little time, some sun and a nice big drink and they will be ready to harvest!

Bengal are one of the sweetest varieties of lychee there is. They have an amazing vibrant red colour and a beautiful taste!

We will more then likely begin picking these within the next fortnight but will post updates and progress shots when possible!

For now, have yourselves a very Merry Christmas and we hope to see you soon.

Our Tai So are in full swing. They have a delicious flavour to them, slightly tart. The picking of these will lead us into our crop of Lychees, which are a super sweet variety. Tai So go perfectly caramelised with a yogurt or fruit bowl or a nice cold summer mock or cocktail!

18/12/2020

We would like to thank all the lovely people that came in on our first day of trade out of the shed. Amazing to see all the people that love the lychees our beautiful trees produce. We are out picking from our Tai So trees daily to ensure there is fresh fruit for everyone!

Tai So is a slightly tart variety when talking lychees, although still have a beautiful taste and appearance. This variety will be available for the next few weeks till all the ripe fruit has been picked.

Following up will be our Bengal, another large seed and large fruit variety and one of the sweetest of all the many varieties! They are now starting to show colour and sizing up day after day but will still be a few weeks or more from ready so stay tuned!!

And finally will be our B3/Kwai Mai Pink. Typically following not long after our bengal crop starts. They are a small seed variety with a beautiful round shape to them and somewhat similar taste to the Tai So.

In between all of these at some point our fig trees will start producing too!! Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for our update posts and support hard working farmers and try and buy direct. We hope to serve you smiles and delicious fruit sometime soon!

Many thanks from the whole family at Fruit of the Farm!

We have started with some selective picking, nothing set in stone yet but we are looking to have a few days of trade out of the farm shed before Christmas! The beautiful vibrant red colour of lychees make them a standout amongst the Christmas table setting (and the perfect Boxing Day hangover cure 😉)

Stay tuned for days of trade.
