Barry Family Butchers Local Family Business The Barry Family have been butchers since 1886. Robert is a born and bred local who served his butchers apprenticeship in Beerwah.

In 2009 we started our on butcher shop supplying direct to the public. We wanted to be able to supply customers with local, natural processed products. We guarantee the products are of the highest quality and are 100% Australian made. As a family we all do our bit. Robert and Narelle spend their day preparing orders then doing the deliveries. Kylie has the joys of the paper work and also helps in

the shop too. Megan and Amanda help when they can. Megan has a home based family day care and Amanda is a High School teacher.

👋 Meet **Narelle**, the owner of Barry’s, the woman who does a bit of everything around here, and quite possibly **the hardest worker we know!** ❤️

If something needs doing, chances are Narelle is already onto it. Whether she’s helping out around the shop, keeping everyone organised, looking after all the things that happen behind the scenes, or simply making sure the place keeps ticking along — **she’s the one who keeps Barry’s running.**

How long has she been with us? **Forever!** 😂 And after all that time, her favourite thing about Barry’s is still that there’s **never a dull moment around the butchers** — which probably has a lot to do with the crew she has to keep in line! 😂

🔪 **Role:** Admin Boss, 2IC Boss Lady & daughter of the bosses!

Kylie’s been on the payroll since she was **15**… so that makes **29 years!** 😲

For Karl, the best thing about working at Barry’s is simple: **the friendly people** ❤️

When it comes to meat, he’s a **rump** man, loves **lamb chops on the BBQ**, and at home you’ll find him cooking up a good **roast pork**. Pair that with a **flat white** and he’s sorted. ☕🔥

Say g’day to **Lachlan**, our school-based apprentice who’s been part of the Barry Family Butchers crew for the past **18 months**! 👋

Lachlan reckons one of the best perks of the job is **getting free food from the boss… mainly so he can eat it in front of the boys.** 😂

When it comes to meat, he’s a **T-Bone** man 🥩, his ideal BBQ feed is a good old **sausage sizzle** 🔥, and when he’s cooking at home, he keeps things nice and gourmet with **2-minute noodles**. 👨‍🍳😂

And forget the coffee — Lachlan’s order is a **Chocolate Milk**. 🥛

Here’s a fun one: Lachlan was actually **born on the same day Barry Family Butchers first opened!** Looks like he was destined for the butcher shop. 🔪🥩

Meet **Clay**, one of the butchers here at Barry’s Family Butchers! 👋

Clay has been part of the Barry’s family for **4 years and 3 months**, and when asked what his favourite thing about working here is, the answer was pretty simple… **breakfast!** 😂🍳

When it comes to meat, Clay’s pick is a good **Rib Fillet Steak** 🥩, and his ultimate BBQ feed is a **steak, bacon & egg burger** 🔥🍔. At home, you’ll find him cooking up **Chicken Parmy’s**, preferably with a **Double Shot Flat White** somewhere in the mix! ☕

One thing you might not know about Clay? He’s **never been on a plane!** ✈️😲

It’s time to meet another familiar face from the Barry Family Butchers crew — **Kurt, better known as Quinny!** 👋

Quinny has been with us for **12 months** and is our resident **Ham Man** 🔪 When asked what he loves most about working at Barry’s, the answer was pretty simple… **sampling the products!** 😂🥩 Can’t argue with that!

When it comes to meat, Quinny’s pick is a **T-Bone**, preferably cooked on the **BBQ** 🔥 His ideal feed? **Steak, eggs & chips** — and apparently salad doesn’t get much of a look-in! 😂

His coffee order is a little unconventional too… forget the flat white — Quinny’s going straight for a **milkshake**! 🥤

And for anyone wondering, Quinny has also volunteered one very important piece of information…
