A lovely lunch out at Whipbird today! 🌿🍽️

We treated ourselves to a visit to Whipbird and what a beautiful little spot it is. From the colourful drinks to the incredible mains (and of course we couldn’t leave without trying dessert 😋), everything was absolutely delicious.

Great food, a relaxed country atmosphere and wonderful hospitality — exactly what you want from a country lunch. It’s always nice to get off the farm for a few hours and support another local country business.

Safe to say we definitely didn’t leave hungry! 😂

Thanks for having us, Whipbird — we’ll certainly be back. 🐂🌈

Our faithful paddock dog getting a well-earned massage… minus the “well-earned” part. 😂

Hasn’t done a bloody thing for the last two weeks, yet somehow he’s sore, exhausted and in need of some serious recovery time.

He’s also looking suspiciously well-fed. We’re starting to think someone’s been handing out a few too many bones. 🦴👀

Living proof that at Rainbow Valley Beef, you don’t necessarily have to work hard to get employee benefits. 😂🐕🐂

We need your support. Cunnamulla needs aged care services, and now is the time to make our voices heard. 📢💙

The Department of Health, Disability and Ageing is hosting an Aged Care Community Forum right here in Cunnamulla, and this is our community's chance to stand together and speak up. Our elders deserve to age in the town they call home, close to family, friends and everything familiar, not forced to move hours away just to access the care they need.

If you've felt the impact of limited aged care access in our region, whether personally, through a loved one, or in the wider community, this forum is where that story needs to be told. The more of us who turn up and speak up, the stronger our message.

The last couple of weekends have looked a little different here at Rainbow Valley Beef! 🐂🌾

We’ve been busy installing two new rainwater tanks, getting everything ready for the upcoming storm season. 🌧️⛈️

There’s always another job to be done around the farm, but it’s great to see another project ticked off the list and some extra water storage in place before summer rolls around.

Now all we need is Mother Nature to do her part and fill them up! 🤞🌧️

🐂🍼 Sadly, life on the farm doesn’t always go to plan. From time to time, unforeseen circumstances leave us with poddy calves that need a little extra care and attention.

When that happens, we do what’s right. These little ones come back to the house where they’re bottle-fed, monitored closely, and given every opportunity to thrive.

It’s a commitment that takes time, patience, and plenty of early mornings, but seeing them grow into healthy young cattle makes it all worthwhile.

Once they’re big enough and strong enough, they’ll head back out to join the weaners where they belong.

At Rainbow Valley Beef, caring for our animals is more than a job—it’s a responsibility we’re proud to take on every day. ❤️🐂
