Some folks reckon we didn’t have enough on our plate... so we went and bought the local grocery store!
If you’ve seen us flat out between the earthmoving gear, chasing four growing lads around, and playing taxi to every sporting match across the outback, you know our bench was already pretty full.
So why pull on the Quilpie General Store too?
Simple: family and community mean everything to us. When the chance came up, we wanted to step up to the plate and make sure Quilpie’s local store stayed locally owned and family run.
Plus, you could say it’s in the blood, Kerri’s used to own and run the fruit and veg shop back in Cunnamulla in the day, so the market game isn’t completely foreign territory!
We treat this shop and everyone who walks through the doors, as an extension of our own crew. We’re having a red-hot crack every single day to keep the town fuelled, stocked, and smiling.
From our family to yours, thank you for backing us, having a yarn at the counter, and being part of the journey. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
