Kadala Curry - Black chickpeas flavoured with freshly roasted & ground spices, simmered in coconut milk & served with a tempering of spring onions & curry leaves. I love the use of black chickpeas in India & Nepal & thought it would be fun to introduce them to people! This dish is a favourite from Kerala ๐
Lemon Rice - aahhh so excited to share this magnificent recipe! So colourful & flavoursome. I remember watching workers buying parcels of it wrapped in newspaper on the streets of Pondicherry for their lunches, yummo! White rice fried with mustard seeds, curry leaves & chana dahl for a unique crunch. Tumeric & lemon juice is then sprinkled & squeezed over the top ๐
Coriander coconut chutney- a take on the classic chutney I had some fun changing the colour & introducing some more nutrition ๐
