Thank you for all your support throughout the year.

Melting Moments Meals will be closed from Friday 22/12/2023 to Monday 08/01/2023.

We wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Only 3 days left of this craziness and then 2 weeks off (well only 1 week for us but good for the staff to have 2 weeks off).

Supplying double meals for these last 2 weeks has been exhausting especially since we have taken on Meals on Wheels for Geelong.

Business is booming 😃

Have a lovely Christmas everyone. 🎄

Melting Moments Meals’ Valued Clients
Price Increase 1st April 2022

We hope that this email finds you well.
As you will be aware, there has been a substantial increase in prices for all food ingredients, especially for meat, vegetables and fuel.

In order to continue to provide the balanced, nourishing and nutritious meals we have proudly supplied for many years, we wish to inform you, as a valued client, of a couple of changes we have been required to make to our service.

Firstly, our menu has remained the same since January 2019, with no price increases. We are currently working on a new menu but have incurred delays due to covid challenges. We will let you know when it is finalised.

Secondly, due to the extreme nature of the price rises we have so far attempted to absorb, in some cases by 50%, we are faced with instituting an increase to most of our meals. A price increase of $2 per main meal and $1 per sweet and soups will apply from 01/04/2022.

Due to NDIS now being quoted items, the client contribution per meal will increase by $2, to $4 per meal to cover ingredients cost (a prerequisite from NDIS) as we are unable to increase the quoted price.

Delivery fees: Please see updated fees below. Please note: existing NDIS quotes will remain the same but quotes from 01/04/2022 will incur the rise in delivery fees.

New Delivery Fees:
$2 up to 3 km - Delivery to Belmont & Highton change to Monday, Wednesday & Friday
$6 up to 6 km
$10 up to 10 km
POA Over 10 km

We thank you for your understanding during this difficult period, and on behalf of all at Melting Moments Meals, we wish you continued good health and happiness.
Kindest regards,

Elle, Mary and the MM Team x

We will still be ‘business as usual’ during the 7 day lock down.
We are an essential service so meal deliveries are still allowed.

We heard of a restaurant that has 350 bookings for this weekend (and I’m sure there are lots more). Feel so sorry for all the small businesses doing it so rough.

Please check in on each other by phone etc and stay safe 💕 🍲 🚗

Edit: Surcharge was removed as soon as prices came down a little. Thank you all for your support! New menu to come in a couple of months 🎉

And this is why we have had to impose a temporary surcharge to our meals 😡

Hey Woolworths I've got a challenge for you.

Pictured below is a half cauliflower from one of your stores. It costs $2.49. It weighed in at 387gm. Now we'll round up here to make it all easier. We'll say $2.50 for 400gm.

So with some simple maths we can prove that you are charging $6.25 per kilo for cauliflower. Are you with me so far?

With a bit more simple maths we can determine you are charging your customers $6250 per tonne for cauliflower.

My challenge to you is to justify this disgrace of a price for fresh vegetables. But I don't just want some excuse about economics or supply and demand. I would request that you justify it while including the price per tonne you are paying our Aussie farmers for their cauliflowers. Because unless it's up around $3000 per tonne then you are blatantly ripping off consumers while screwing over every farmer that grows for you.

Looking forward to a no doubt BS reply about your absolutely BS pricing.

Melting Moments Meals’ Valued Clients

Good Morning,
I hope that this email finds you well.
Like you, and indeed all Australians, we have recently been forced to come to terms with the challenges of a rapidly-changing landscape in response to the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The massive and unforeseeable increase in demand resulting from the pandemic, as well as from the recent bushfires, flooding, and the ongoing drought, has resulted in a substantial increase in prices for all food ingredients, most especially for meat and vegetables, where they are available.
In order to continue to provide the balanced, nourishing, and nutritious meals we have proudly supplied for many years, we wish to inform you, as a valued client, of several changes we have been required to make to our services.
First, due to the unavailability of some key ingredients, we have been forced to temporarily remove some menu items from our ordering list. We will continue our attempts to source the items concerned, and will advise you as soon as we are able to return to our usual menu.
Second, due to the extreme nature of the price rises we have so far attempted to absorb, in some cases double or more the usual rates, we are faced with temporarily instituting a $2.00 surcharge to our main meals, and a $1.00 surcharge to our mini meals. All other items, soups, desserts, etc, will remain unchanged.
Aside from these minor changes, which we will do our best to ensure are in place for the shortest time possible, we wish to assure you that we will be carrying on business as usual. We have received many emails and telephone calls recently from concerned clients seeking to order meals in advance or in bulk, and we wish to reassure you that this is totally unnecessary. We have absolutely no intention at all to cease our meal preparation or our deliveries, and we cannot foresee any circumstances at this time which would alter this.
For further information about COVID-19 and how to best manage your risks, we recommend that you visit the Department of Health and Human Services Website.
We thank you for your understanding during this difficult period, and on behalf of all at Melting Moments Meals, we wish you continued good health and happiness.
Kindest regards,

Mary, Elle, and the MM Team x

Melting Moments Meals, like most businesses across Australia, is taking the risk of the spreading COVID-19 very seriously.

Our priority is to keep our business running smoothly to ensure all your clients; participants etc receive their meals as usual.

We are receiving many requests for bulk orders but have requested that everyone please only place their regular order.

We are an essential service and will not close but we may have problems in the future getting our regular stock. So could we ask that you inform your clients ‘not to panic’ and please only place regular orders as required?

We will update you as the situation develops.
