Mimosa Wines Restaurant, winery, wedding venue on the South Coast A boutique family owned gastronomic restaurant on the South Coast of NSW.

We operate a 2 or 3 course lunch menu (from $69pp) and a 6 course set menu dinner ($120pp). Head chef Jan Semmelhack is a unique creator, focused on the superb local produce of the South Coast which results in a unique dining experience. The new winter menu has arrived at Mimosa Wines.
As the season turns and the days grow cooler, the table begins to shift with it, into something slower, deeper and more comforting. Preserves return to the shelves, broths simmer gently, and winter ingredients take their place in the rhythm of the kitchen once again.

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of two extraordinary people, Gail and Glenn, the founders of Mimosa Wines.

Over the past few weeks, our family has farewelled both Gail and Glenn. Gail passed away after a courageous battle with brain cancer, and last night Glenn passed away peacefully, surrounded by his daughters and family after a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Together, they were the dreamers, pioneers and visionaries who created Mimosa.

What began as a dream and a beautiful piece of land became a place that has welcomed thousands of guests, celebrated countless milestones and created memories that will last generations. Their passion, determination and love for this region shaped Mimosa into what it is today.

Beyond the vineyard, restaurant and property they built, Gail and Glenn were devoted parents, grandparents, partners and friends. They believed deeply in family, hospitality and creating a place where people could gather, connect and celebrate life's special moments.

Their legacy lives on not only in the land they nurtured and the community they built, but in the family they leave behind.

Today, Tilly, Aymeric and their family are honoured to carry forward the vision Gail and Glenn began. As the next custodians of Mimosa, they remain committed to preserving everything that makes this place so special while ensuring their legacy continues for future generations, including their grandchildren.

While our hearts are heavy, we are incredibly grateful for the gift of their vision, their courage and the foundations they created.

Everything that Mimosa is today began with Gail and Glenn.

Their story is forever part of this place, and their legacy will continue in every vine, every shared meal, every celebration and every person welcomed to Mimosa.
