We know many of our customers by name ☺️ We hear your stories, weekend plans, and often get a little life update while you’re picking up your meals.

This week’s menu is now open and packed with all the cosy comfort food Winter calls for! 😍

From Thai Spiced Chicken & Leek Soup and Roasted Cauliflower, Nutmeg & Cashew Soup, to hearty favourites like our Normandy Style Pork & Cider Casserole, Lamb Shank Korma and Chinese Red Braised Beef, there’s plenty to warm you up this week.

And if dinner isn’t enough, save room for dessert. The Sticky Toffee Pudding with Butterscotch Sauce, Butterscotch Mousse and Banana Cake with Maple Syrup Cream Cheese Frosting are all making an appearance too 😍

🍯 We’re excited to stock Bermagooey Honey at Eastwood’s!

Produced right here on the Far South Coast, Bermagooey Honey comes from a private coastal estate where pasture, bushland and ocean meet.

The bees forage naturally across protected coastal forest, creating honey that reflects the seasons, local flora and the landscape it comes from.

Raw, local and unprocessed, this honey is cold pressed, never heat treated.

The menu is open again and this week is all about comfort food, warming soups and hearty Winter favourites!

From Peking Duck Spring Rolls with Plum Sauce and Chicken, Ginger and Turmeric Soup, to Winter Lamb Casserole, Tuscan Chicken Casserole and Beef Casserole with Caramelised Onions, Dark Ale and Mustard, there’s plenty to keep you cosy as the temperatures drop ❄️

If you’re in the mood for something a little different, the Malaysian Kapitan Chicken Curry, Barramundi Curry with Tamarind and Coconut, and Chermoula Ling & Chickpea Tagine are all back on the menu too.

And don’t forget dessert 🍰 Coconut and Mango Panna Cotta, Blueberry Basque Cheesecake and Carrot and Sultana Cake with Burnt Butter Cream Cheese Frosting are waiting for you.

During COVID, when shopping looked very different, so did we 🚐

It’s wild to look back and see this as the turning point for Eastwood’s.

What started as a café and meal delivery service has evolved into the ready-made meal business we are today 😍

At Eastwood’s, we really do try to make food for everyone 🫶

From comforting classics we deliver to some of our lovely older customers each week, to fresh, colourful meals for busy families, quick lunches, event catering, and the people who just want something delicious waiting in the fridge after work 😁

Our menu ends up being a pretty big mix of flavours, styles and ideas!! 🍴

Operational chaos: 2
Me: 0 ⛽😂

A few weeks ago at Eastwood’s, we somehow pulled off:
• 180 hampers
• A garden party for 65
• 300 canapés
• A massive choir weekend across Friday, Saturday & Sunday

…but somewhere amongst all of that, I forgot one tiny detail: petrol 🫠

Not because I didn’t notice the fuel light. More because my brain had approximately 47 tabs open and was running purely on adrenaline, canapés, and vibes.

The fuel gauge said “75km remaining” and apparently I interpreted that as a personal challenge.

So yes… the week ended with me stranded on the side of the road laughing at myself.

And somehow… I DID IT AGAIN THIS WEEK 😭😂

So if you’ve ever forgotten something obvious while juggling life… same.

We’re incredibly proud to be the main caterer for Four Winds this year, we get to come up with thoughtful menus to suit each event!

Throughout the year, our menus have featured dishes such as:

🍋 Lemon Myrtle Chicken and Macadamia Tartlets
🥧 Wattleseed and Whipped Feta Barquettes with Salt Bush Crumble
🥗 Roasted Sweet Potato, Feta, Wild Rice and Barley Salad with Candied Walnuts, Baby Spinach & Honey-Dijon Dressing
🍨 Lemongrass Panna Cotta with Passionfruit Compote
