Moorilla recently joined some of Tasmania’s leading producers in Singapore, for a series of events showcasing the depth and diversity of the island’s cool-climate wines.

Winemaker Conor van der Reest represented Moorilla at the Sparkling Tasmania: The Art of Cool-Climate Fizz masterclass at 67 Pall Mall, where the 2019 Moorilla Muse Extra Brut Rosé was poured alongside an exceptional line-up of Tasmanian sparkling wines.

The programme continued with a second masterclass exploring the region’s outstanding Chardonnay and Pinot noir, bringing together leading members of Singapore’s wine trade and media.

A proud opportunity to share a taste of Tasmania's unique wines on the world stage.

Praxis is where winemaker Conor van der Reest gives curiosity free rein—and the 2025 Field Blend is a perfect example. Bringing together Chardonnay Musqué, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon blanc and Shiraz allows each variety to speak for itself.

Expect vibrant notes of strawberry, raspberry and citrus, layered with flinty minerality and savoury spice.

Created as a special one-off release for Japan, we're fortunate to have secured a small allocation to share. Limited availability online, and even more so at our Cellar Door.

Fresh, precise and quietly indulgent, our 2019 releases present two distinct expressions of Tasmanian sparkling—crafted side by side for aperitif moments.

The Extra Brut 2019 is crisp, bright and composed. Nectarine, honeysuckle and jasmine sit over citrus peel, while subtle notes of honey and toast bring depth.

The Extra Brut Rosé 2019 delivers equal poise and elegance—layered with cherry, raspberry coulis and wild strawberry, framed by gentle spice and savoury toastiness.

Two interpretations of the same vintage, both still strikingly youthful and built to evolve.

Fresh behind the bar at Faro: Acholado—Moorilla's luminous vine spirit, distilled from estate white wines and blended across five vintages.

Inspired by the South American pisco tradition, it’s bright, floral and quietly complex. Find it poured by the shot, or woven through our ever-changing cocktail specials.

Take a break at Cellar Door, elevated above MONA - Museum of Old and New Art with views of the surrounding grounds, and Berriedale in the distance.

Soak up the last of autumn with the final pours of Muse Extra Brut Rosé 2018 — light and creamy, with rhubarb, blood orange and ripe red cherries carrying through a long, rounded finish.

Or slow things down with a glass of Muse Pinot Noir 2019 — punchy and generous, layered with fleshy red fruit, florals, smooth tannins and a whisper of smoke.

Two very good reasons to settle in and stay a little longer.

Tasmania’s 2026 vintage has been defined by extremes—and the kind of unpredictability that comes with making wine on an island.

This season unfolded slowly—cool conditions, persistent cloud cover, and wet, windy weather that hit during flowering. Because of this, ripening is now tracking as much as five weeks behind—making this the latest start to harvest we’ve seen.

But, a silver lining—low crops, slow ripening and longer hang time means this year's fruits are remarkably intense. With the majority of fruit still on the vine, there’s a long way to go, but the direction is clear.

Something a little different—a new spirit from Moorilla.

Distilled from estate white wines and blended across five vintages, our Acholado (meaning “blended”) is fresh, luminous, and unexpected.

Inspired by South American Pisco, this is its Australian counterpart: column-distilled for purity, bright with citrus and shaped by the aromatics of our base wines.

Now available online and at our cellar door.

Our 2012 Muse series—Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Pinot noir, Syrah, and Cabernet—have been patiently resting in the cellar to reach their full potential. After 14 years of careful maturation, they’re finally ready to be shared.

This is a rare opportunity to experience wines from what winemaker Conor van der Reest calls “about as close to a perfect vintage as possible.”

Balanced vineyards, exceptional fruit quality, and meticulous picking have resulted in wines built for long-term enjoyment.
