Did you know honey bees have age-based jobs?
The hive is a well-run community, with each bee doing its part based on age.

Here’s how it works:

Nurse Bees (1–2 weeks old)

These young worker bees stay inside the hive to care for the brood—feeding larvae, cleaning cells, and keeping the hive just the right temperature and humidity.

House Bees (2–3 weeks old)

As they grow older, they take on more responsibilities—such as processing incoming nectar and pollen, regulating airflow, acting as undertakers by removing dead bees, and maintaining the overall hive environment.

Forager Bees (3+ weeks old)

The oldest bees become foragers, flying long distances to collect nectar, pollen, water, and propolis. They’re the ones doing the famous waggle dance to show others where the food is!

This age-based job system is called temporal polytheism—it keeps the hive running like clockwork and makes the most of each bee’s strengths.

3Bees Honey is very privileged and proud to be working alongside Mark and the Guys at The Salvation Army Community Garden of Hope located on the Harry Hunters Rehabilitation Centre Gosnells.
We have our first 100% Raw Natural Honey from the Garden of Hope.
All profits go to the The Salvation Army Community Garden of Hope.

Our Customers over the last few weeks have been encouraging with this Program and we have sold out of Garden of Hope Honey.
No problems though we will be extracting the Hives at the Community Gardens this week.

The Harry Hunters Rehabilitation Centre at Gosnells is on very native land over 50 acres bush land backing onto Korung National Park with an abundance of Wildflowers, White Gum, Marri, White Myrtle etc there for some beautiful honey.
The Garden of Hope program has 3Bees Honey placing so many Beehives on the grounds and educating Mark and the Guys to look after the Beehives.

Educating and assisting them in Extraction and making their own Honey and of course selling their delicious Honey.

This is such a positive program.
It is so positive to see so much enthusiasm wanting to know more about Bee Keeping.

When you think about what is the most nourishing food in nature is, what comes to mind?

If you answered Bee Pollen then you are absolutely correct!

BEE POLLEN equals SUPERFOOD

Bee Pollen contains nearly every nutrient that is required by humans.

It is made by the most amazing creature, the Honey Bee.

Bee pollen contains many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it incredibly healthy.

Bee Pollen Granules can be easily added to your daily regime – simply sprinkle over your breakfast cereal or add to your favourite juices and smoothies or milk.

Serving Suggestion: Take 1 – 2 teaspoons (5 – 10 grams) of granules daily.
