This Kauri pine (Agathis robusta) was planted about 7 years ago. It is at the end of a syntropic row in a totally unsuitable climate but is thriving. Kauri pine are slow growing rainforest trees. It has been eaten by goats and kangaroos and just takes it in its stride. I wonder if it will be here in a thousand years like the twin Kauri pines at Lake Barrine. What an awesome thought 💕
