Freycinet Vineyard

Freycinet Vineyard 100% grown, produced and bottled on our estate.

Inspired by the tremendous opportunities of the East Coast of Tasmania, Geoff and Susan Bull cleared the site in 1978, planted the first vines in 1979 and established the first commercial winery on the East Coast. They were early pioneers in a new region which years later revealed exciting quality potential in wines. The Freycinet Vineyard and Winery is family owned with daughter Lindy Bull and her partner Claudio Radenti taking over the family tradition of gently handcrafting the wines.

First the Sydney Royal Wine Show and now the Australian Pinot Noir Challenge 2025. Our 2024 Freycinet Pinot Noir has collected its second gold. 2024 is proving itself to be a great year for Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

It's that time of year again. We're very happy to announce that our extra virgin olive oil is back for 2025. Our 13th oil has a beautiful green colour with that classic peppery finish. Available now on plates at and in our cellar door and online store in 250ml, 500ml and 750ml bottles.

For a small family producer, this is quite an achievement and we are grateful to our amazing team whose dedication and hard work make this possible.

We have a truly special corner of Tasmania, where our dedicated sparkling vineyard and unhurried winemaking combine to produce a distinctive sparkling wine that is both complex and delicate.

The countdown is on!!

On 7 September we will be releasing our magnificent new 2023 Freycinet Pinot Noir, celebrating the occasion with a SOLD OUT Pinot Noir Celebration Long Lunch.

Our lucky guests will be the first to sample the 2023 vintage from magnum, and will be hosted by our winemakers Claudio Radenti and Keira O'Brien. To celebrate our long history as a distinguished producer of single vineyard Tasmanian Pinot Noir we will be opening some wonderful back vintages cellared on the estate.

One of the east coast's most exciting chefs, the phenomenally talented Sam Jackson of Poco Tasmania has designed a beautiful menu that showcases the bounty of our region and pairs perfectly with our wines.

The event is part of Great Eastern Wine Week, and visitors to the cellar door will be able to taste and purchase the new vintage as well as purchase a special mixed pack of our our Pinot Noirs, selected by our winemakers.

We are honoured to once again receive Five Red Stars in the 2025 Halliday Wine Companion, which recognises us as an outstanding winery regularly producing wines of exemplary quality and typicity, and identifies Freycinet Vineyard as having consistently held a 5 star rating continuously for 10 years. This is testament to the consistency of our single vineyard wines and our distinguished vineyard site on the east coast of Tasmania.

Our Freycinet Riesling 2023, Radenti Grand Vintage Sparkling 2016 and Radenti Vintage Rose 2017 were all Top Rated Wines in their categories, putting them in rarefied company, sitting assuredly with the very best of the best.

Our family is incredibly proud and grateful to our small and dedicated team, each of whom makes a valuable contribution to our ongoing success.

Our 2024 Freycinet Extra Virgin Olive Oil is NOW AVAILABLE exclusively from our cellar door and online store. The quality is exceptional, smooth and mellow with a beautiful peppery kick. We are a little bit in love 💖🫒

Sadly, we experienced a very small harvest, in line with worldwide trends, so stocks are limited. Available in 500ml and 750ml bottles only (sorry no 4L tins this year).
We know it will sell out quickly, so please get your orders in ASAP!
