Thank you to everyone that made this year's Bickley Harvest Festival event such a hoot! Ian and Jemma for all their help pre, during and post event; tasting whizz Madeleine in the cellar door; lightning Hew in the kitchen; dear friends Helen, Greg and Jane for their enthusiastic support and assistance; knockout pizza from Fabio and legendary tunes from the very talented . We all know that things often take longer (and cost more) than first anticipated and Brookside's reno's are no exception! We've been busy with site works and landscaping, planting lots of beautiful trees and now waiting for rain before we plant hundreds of perennials.
Vintage has come and gone and our Chardonnay and Cabernet are maturing nicely in French oak barrels. Meanwhile, plans on the shed are progressing slowly as we scour salvage yards to find the right pieces for Brookside v2. We don't know when we will be able to reopen, but in the interim, Michael, Jocelyn and the Brookside team would love to see you at our pop-up at for this year's Bickley Harvest Festival weekend on the 4th and 5th May.
