Burnett Livestock & Realty’s Biggenden Meatworks & Store Sale on Monday, 17th August saw a yarding of 2,480 head.
Cattle were drawn from Wandoan, Mundubbera, Gayndah, Proston, Booubyjan, Rosedale, Oyster Creek, Miriam Vale, Kilkivan, Gin Gin, Bundaberg, Maryborough, Tiaro and all local areas.
8 tooth Droughtmaster bullocks from Bundaberg sold for 422c/$3300 and the Grey Brahmans sold for 414c/$2697. Brangus bullocks from Rosedale sold for 388c/$2184. 6 tooth Droughtmaster bullock from Booyal sold for 398c/$2847.
2 and 4 tooth Droughtmaster heifers from Yerra sold for 394c/$1918. 6 tooth Brahman cross heifers from Boompa sold for 392c/$1892. 4 tooth Red Brahman heifers from Bundaberg sold for 394c/$2128. 6 tooth Brangus from Bucca sold for 386c/$2139.
