May lambing has started which means two things.

I will have some ewes and lambs available to go and live somewhere else together. Starting with the pair in the 2nd photo. (Mum and daughter) Other photos are for attention only but that's what my lambs typically look like.

And I may need potential lamb adopters if I end up with any rejected orphans. Provided you have enough land for a grown sheep, and you are willing to come and collect at potentially fairly short notice.

The father is Johnie the Dorper from my favourite genetic line of the past ten years.

May lambing has started which means two things.

☆ Maremma - 2yrs old, so he's just finishing his silly puppy stage.
• A very friendly 'people dog' - would make a great companion.
• Loves to chase rabbits and dig for rabbits, hence his name > Elmer (Fudd)
• Will also chase the kangaroos away if they are a bit of a pest.

He is not very good with poultry, cats or sheep but grew up with cattle where he was bred and lived for his first 11 months. He showed good potential in guarding poddy calves. He is also used to horses.

We are looking to rehome him because we have lots of poultry, cats and sheep. (See above)

I have been teaching him basic commands like WAIT, Sit, Stay, Slow, Come, Leave it, With me. He obeys generally better than most Maremmas who are often known to be selectively deaf. Please pm me for more details. Still entire.
