Devon Cattle Breeders' Society of Australia Welcome to the Devon Cattle Breeders' Society of Australia (DCBSA). Devon cattle are one of the oldest British breeds of cattle.

Originating in south-west England, Devons have been a distinct breed for over two and a half centuries. Devons came to Australia in the early 1800s. Australia, Britain, Brazil, New Zealand, Uruguay and The USA are the main Devon cattle producing countries. The success of the Devon breed worldwide is due to its enduring qualities, traits that have elvolved over time that are of great value to the demanding beef industry of today.

Devon Females for Sale. Genuine herd dispersal, registered and commercial.

Palinga Devon Stud originated in 1985 with the purchase of animals from Lewisham and Longacres in Tasmania, and from Wombramurra, Havilah and Tirranna in NSW. Palinga cattle were shown from 1988 to 2004, winning several Grand Champions at Sydney and Brisbane Shows, as well as many local shows. In 2003 the herd was divided, with half remaining as Palinga and the other becoming Vix.
