First time through a gateway as a group. Training the heifers and calves to be moved is sometimes interesting.

This is how I tag and weigh the calves as they are born. Sorry about the camera angle, it was just sitting on the back of the buggy.
No need to have the calf catcher on the side especially when they are not long born like this one.

It’s tree planting time again! 🌱

Over the past 10 years, James and I have planted between 50 and 150 native trees almost every year. Most have gone into newly fenced shelter belts or have replaced trees that didn’t make it in previous seasons.

This year, though, we’re stepping it up… 200 native trees! 🌿

Every tree is an investment in the future—for shelter, biodiversity, and a healthier landscape. We’re looking forward to getting them all in the ground!

What an excellent soaking rain we have had! This is what I have to drive through to feed the bulls this morning.
