Well… that was absolutely INSANE.
It still doesn’t feel real that people are willing to line up for something I’ve created 🥹🥹 I’ll never stop being grateful for that.
Thank you to every single person who came out tonight. I genuinely could not believe the turnout
We opened at 5:00pm, and the second photo was taken at 5:05pm. The line stayed massive almost the entire night, and by 6:15pm we had sold out of almost everything, with only coffee and hot chocolates left.
I’m so sorry to anyone who missed out on something they wanted to try. We honestly weren’t expecting anything like this, but we’ll definitely have more next time!
A huge shout out to my incredible staff, my friends and my family who ran around grabbing things I’d forgotten, calling out orders and doing whatever needed to be done.
And the real MVPs… my kids. They help with prep, work in incredibly busy environments and are constantly asked to do things well beyond what most kids their age would. Somehow, they always step up and absolutely smash it. They put up with the long hours, the stress and everything that comes with running a small business. I hope one day they look back and realise that growing up around hard work helped shape them into the capable, resilient people they’re becoming. I’m so proud of them.
And thank you to everyone who shared our posts before the event. Social media is one of the biggest ways you can support a small business, and it doesn’t cost a thing. Every share, tag, comment and recommendation helps more than you probably realise, and I’m so grateful for every bit of support.
