Our philosophy is simple......happy livestock produce the best meat. To do this, our livestock graze pastures rich in grass, forbs and legume species, that are free of chemicals. We breed Shorthorn cattle, "The Breed that Built Australia", and our family have done so since 1958. And there are very good reasons why we still do. We use organic and Biodynamic principles to maintain both pasture and a

nimal health, and never treat our livestock with growth promotants or Genetically Modified additives. We treat our animals with reverence, and respect. And our people here at 'Hanaminno' are world class, a team that is dedicated to producing the happiest livestock possible, because.....well, you know why. Love getting out to muster sheep with my trusty side kick Lordie. Moving Mumblebone Merino ewes mated to Gooramma Dorset rams. In splendid condition given the dry season.

I recently completed both the Foundation Level 1 and Evolution Level 2 courses — and I did them with my daughter Lilla, which made the experience even more special.

I'd recommend these to anyone interested in communicating with the unseen elements of their landscape and nature. This is information that's relevant for all ages, so bring your family along if you can.

We've had various QLSE practitioners visit our home farm, Hanamninno, over the years to check in with the landscape and rebalance any energetic anomalies — so it felt like a natural next step to deepen my own understanding through these courses.

We’re looking for a hands-on Station Hand to join the team at Hanaminno.
This is a practical role with a strong focus on fencing, repairs and general farm maintenance, supporting the day-to-day running of a regenerative livestock operation.
You’ll be working alongside a small team, contributing to the upkeep of infrastructure, water systems and equipment — and stepping into livestock work when needed.
If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in doing a job properly, and are keen to be part of a values-driven farm environment, we’d love to hear from you.

It took me till the very end of this wonderful biography to work out why Hubert Wilkins has not received the acclaim and recognition for the incredible explorer that he was…..his survival and navigation skills, courage and resilience may just have made him a serious threat to a government, organisation or country…. go grab yourself a copy and sus it out for yourself …. 👊
