Orange's wonderful heritage pub, The Lord Anson Hotel has reopened under new management. Ray from Eat Botanic is at the helm with a huge menu of really good stuff. Good vego options too.

Thanks to our friend Lilac for sharing this: a review of various eating apple varieties.
Of course how an apple eats isn't the same as how it drinks once fermented but we love apples so really enjoyed reading this.

We will be at the ANZAC Day ceremony on Saturday morning so will open at 1pm. Normal hours on Friday afternoon and Sunday. Closed Monday. Could be busy so bookings recommended!

Orchard update: Nick has been in the Orchard tending to the baby trees. Just 2 years old so we want them growing bigger not growing apples for now!
This is all part of making unique ciders from fresh apples grown just for cider.
