First grass fire of the season on Koonandah Station 🔥

Lucky this one behaved itself and was knocked over pretty quick. The keeper bulls thought Christmas had come early though — stood there watching the whole show like a bunch of old blokes at the pub, then wandered straight for the warm ashes as we left for what’ll no doubt be a cosy night’s sleep.

Sunsets through smoke still hit different out here, and the birds were having an absolute field day behind the burn. 🌅🐦

Preg Test Koonandah style

Preg testing at Koonandah Station yesterday and Bobbi & Missy reckoned they were running the whole operation. 🐄🐾

Now these girls KNOW they’re not allowed in the yards… so instead they spent the day with their paws shoved under the rails, peeking through like a couple of old stock inspectors making sure nobody was mucking it up. 😂

Cows coming from every angle, gates banging, people yelling — and these two watching it all like:
“Lucky you guys have got us here supervising or it would be mayhem.” 🤣🤠

Not a paw over the rail though! Just enough under it to remind everyone they’re still working dogs and deeply offended they were not required for most of the day. 😂🐶🐶
