🎨 What a fantastic night celebrating art, talent & community! 🎨

Stackelroth Farms was proud to sponsor the Junior Section of the recent Bowen Art Society’s Annual Exhibition, held at the beautiful 360 Flagstaff Hill.

With more than 200 artworks on display from artists across the Whitsundays, Burdekin and even our southern visitors who return to Bowen each year, there was plenty of talent to admire!

We were especially impressed by the quality and creativity of our young and emerging artists. It’s wonderful to see such talented young people coming through in our community. πŸ‘

🎨 Opening night was a great turnout, with Sam Roberts Music providing fantastic entertainment and creating the perfect atmosphere. 🎢

A big congratulations to guest judge Maxine Thompson internationally acclaimed pastellist, who had the very difficult job of choosing winners across all categories!

And a huge THANK YOU to the Bowen Art Society committee, volunteers and helpers. An exhibition of this size takes months of planning, organising and plenty of hard work behind the scenes. We appreciate everything you do to make it happen! ❀️

Congratulations to everyone who exhibited, and thank you to all the sponsors and supporters who helped bring it together.
It really does take a community to make something special happen β€” and we’re proud to be part of it. 🌻

πŸŒ±πŸ’š WE'RE BACK… AND IT'S VEGGIE BOX WEEKEND! πŸ’šπŸŒ±

You may have noticed the Farmstall was closed and we missed the Bowen Community Sunday Markets last weekend.

There was a very good reason… and one we don't often allow ourselves to do!

The Boss Lady rarely takes time away from the farm, especially at this time of year, but when her sidekick was asked to do some face painting for a special birthday party, we decided to make the most of the opportunity and sneak away for a quick visit with some very special little people and family in our lives. ❀️

It was a big three days, but oh-so-worth-it. Lots of family time, plenty of memories made… and the Boss Lady even managed to get her hands dirty helping with some baby farm animals, so she didn't get too homesick! πŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸ

A huge THANK YOU to everyone for your patience and understanding while we took that little break. Sometimes you just have to stop, breathe and make time for the people who matter. ❀️

And now… we're home, the paddocks are calling and it's VEGGIE BOX ORDER WEEKEND! πŸ₯•πŸ…πŸ₯¬

The Boss Lady certainly doesn't sit still for long! πŸŒ±πŸ’š

During the week you'll spot her & her offsider busily tending to our crops, with 11 of the 15 local produce lines available harvested for the Farmstall, veggie boxes and at the Bowen Community Sunday Markets.

This time of year really is something special – beautiful weather, fresh seasonal produce and a chance to slow down and enjoy the simple things.
