The weather has definitely turned, and there’s nothing better than staying cosy with good company, a glass of wine, and a grazing box packed with all your favourites.

Whether you’re catching up with friends, heading away for the weekend, or simply enjoying a lazy afternoon at home, our grazing boxes are the perfect cold-weather treat. Loaded with premium cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruit, crackers, dips and all the delicious extras, they’re made for sharing (or not 😉).

Nothing says winter quite like a pot of slow-cooked lamb shanks. Braised with onions, carrots, and a generous splash of local Southern Highlands red wine, they simmer away until perfectly tender and full of flavour.

A bittersweet farewell 🖤

After arriving as a Christmas casual in 2021 for what was supposed to be “just a few months,” somehow Bec blinked and turned those few months into almost five years!

Today we’re saying goodbye as she heads off to Queensland for her next adventure.

Bec has been one of those people who lights up a room simply by walking into it. Always bright, always positive, and always keeping us guessing what colour her hair would be next, she brought so much personality, laughter and energy to the team.

From busy weekends to countless laughs behind the scenes, Bec has been a much-loved part of the Hot Canary family and she will be deeply missed by both our team and customers alike.

While we’re sad to see her go, we’re incredibly excited for this next chapter and all the opportunities that await her in the Sunshine State.

Thank you for everything, Bec. Thank you for your hard work, your kindness, your colourful spirit, and for being unapologetically you.

Queensland is lucky to have you. 💛

This man is 40 today.

Yes, 40. Despite what he tells everyone, he did not personally invent the dry aged steak … but he was there when it was discovered.

Please wish our fearless (and slightly feral) leader a happy birthday today
He’s currently accepting:
– compliments about his beard
– reminders to stretch before lifting anything
– and reassurance that 40 is the new 30 (we’re still workshopping that one)

If you see him in-store, feel free to let him know he’s looking “distinguished” — it’s the only word he’ll accept now.
