Bowral Wagyu - November 2026 Processing

We have two excellent Full Blood Wagyu steers on feed currently. They are about 650kg each and will continue to grow prior to our processing. As usual we will offer 5kg and 10kg mixed cuts boxes to our customers.

If you would like to order some boxed beef for our November 2026 processing, please reply to this email indicating your preference.

As always, in order to secure your place on the order book it is on the basis of when deposits are received. You can pay your deposit at any time to the bank account detailed at the bottom of this email. A 25% deposit is required to secure your order.

We have seen our input costs rise as the price of diesel and many other services has increased over the past six months. We have tried to absorb as much of this as possible, but we are having to pass on a price increase for this processing. We hope that our customers understand.

We anticipate being able to supply about 40 x 10kg boxes at this processing, plus some offal and bones. Our 5kg boxes are $225, and our 10kg boxes are $450 ($45 per kg).

We will confirm the exact dates for the collection of the boxes shortly. We just need to confirm the exact dates with our butcher.

It’s time to place your orders for our next offering of prime quality Wagyu beef. This sirloin is an example of the excellent marbling that we achieve with our locally bred Southern Highlands full blood Wagyu herd. If you’d like to be included in our next offering which we plan will be in the next 6-8 weeks, please indicate your preference for either a 5kg or a 10kg beef box. Each box will have a mix of steaks, diced, sausages and mince (including sirloin, fillet, rump, round, topside, minute steaks, diced, mince and sausages).

We have kept our price at $40/kg for several years, but the increase in fuel and other costs has meant we will have to set our price at $45/kg this year. We hope our customers will be understanding. We still think our beef offers great value!

We are processing two F1 (first cross) steers (Wagyu x Angus) on 26 March. The meat will be available just after Easter. Each steer has been long fed and is just over one tonne. We are going to have lots of meat and 5kg and 10kg boxes will be just $25 per kg. Please email [email protected] with your orders.

Bowral Wagyu is growing our herd, but there is a limit to available grass, so we are needing to offload some young full blood heifers. We have six heifers that are available. They range in age from 11-15 months, and should be ready for serving/AI very shortly. Alternatively, we can ensure that they come to you served by one of our bulls, guaranteed PTIC.
They will all be parent verified and screened for known recessive traits (CHS, IARS, F11 & CL16). Five of the six are trait free as both parents of these five are trait free. They will be confirmed backlined and injected with 7 in 1. If you're starting a full blood herd, or wanting to add some variety to your genetics, please DM us for details. We have been breeding FB Wagyu since 2002 so our knowledge of the breed and these animals comes from long experience.

WBV's are top 15-20% for growth (significantly above average for long fed animals), mature cow weight (top 11% if you're trying to improve the size of your breeding cows) and carcase weight (again significantly above average). DM us for details.
