All Rams in the sale are offered Genomiced and DNA parent verified to give our clients assurance in the product they are buying 🤝

Brisbane Charolais World Congress - what an incredible event!

We’d like to take a moment to thank Gary, Anna and their amazing team for such a great run show!

We are a day into our journey home and have been reflecting on what an amazing event the week just had has been for our program and the Charolais breed as a whole.

We’d like to thank the many breeders and congress delegates who took the time to look through our team and give such positive comments on our cattle and the direction we are heading.

We are absolutely thrilled to have had all of our cattle finish in the top row of such big classes, and our beautiful, Venturon Starstruck W98, win junior champion female in such a contested division!

We’d also like to thank the great people at Caloona Livestock for their investment in Venturon Starstruck 199W for $13,000 half share, making her the highest-valued female of the World Congress Sale!

A massive congratulations to one of our favourites, Fletcher Wetherell, on his runner-up national beef cattle paraders win!

One of the biggest thank yous would go to the Bolton Family for looking after our team, feeding them and getting everything sorted for the big dance! The cattle looked a treat and we thank you all for treating them like your own ♥️

Another big thank you to Scotty for sending it North with Harris at the drop of a hat and being such a great help!

We don’t know how long it will be until we are back exhibiting at the Ekka, but we’d like to thank the Qlders for their help and hospitality at such a great event! We’ll post more photos when we get them, but for now this is all we have!

For those who will be in attendance at judging, Starstruck 199W will show in the second class of the heifer calf division.

She is truly an incredible female with donor written all over her. We’ve always known she was unique and especially when she showed at foot of her dam, 172S, to win the Hordern Perpetual Trophy at this year’s Sydney Royal Show.

Honestly, a bit of a pinch us moment- the team is in BRISBANE!

The cattle have travelled incredibly well and are having a well deserved rest. A truly special moment to be here at the EKKA for the Charolais World Congress!

The vibe here in the shed is brilliant and we encourage everybody to swing by floor 1 to see a spectacular number of Charolais on display.

Charolais judging is 8 am on Friday 👌

From the day he was born we knew he’d be a great one. He made a lot of friends when he campaigned alongside his dam, Q11, to win Supreme Interbreed Senior Female at Perth Royal Show and then on his own winning All Breeds Champion Male at Wagin Woolorama this year.

McQueen backs our belief of stacking as many great cows into one’s pedigree as possible.

His dam is Clementine Q11, a female who fittingly was meant to head to the 2020 World Charolais Congress at the EKKA for the Black Dog Ride Charity Auction. Q11 is a direct daughter of the legend herself - Naughty But Nice N31.

On the top side, he is by none other than Venturon Talladega T192 who sold to Bauhinia Park Bulls for $50k. This is one Talladega’s first calves and we are excited for the future!

Talladega’s dam is one of our favourite cows in the breed, Clara D211, and the job she has done around the country is nothing short of amazing.

Homo-polled and PA-free, with a pedigree filled with greats makes him a pretty intriguing herd sire option.

Back into things after a brilliant past weekend judging the White Suffolk, Charollais and Interbreed Classes at the Australian Sheep and Wool Show in Bendigo, VIC.
Congratulations to all of the exhibitors on such a great lineup of sheep to cast an eye over.
A massive thank you to the committee and stewards for the incredible hospitality and help throughout the show.

Was great to catch up with so many friends and clients over there and well done to all of the WA Merino breeders on their success!

This catalogue features the cattle that we have designed to fit today’s world from the lessons learnt from 13 generations of cattle men and women from across the globe that underpin our family beliefs in raising seedstock.

We are finishing off the last few groups to AI and have started putting bulls out with cows. We grabbed this new shot of Venturon The Stig T42 before he went out with his group!

His first daughter sells as Lot 5 at the Charolais National Sale at the World Congress next month at the EKKA 👌

We couldn’t be happier with the job The Stig is doing for us here at VL and around the country. It’s great to see him become a trait leader for Birthweight and scrotal figures!

We thank the great people at Johnson Charolais and High Bluff Stock Farm in Canada for securing the Canadian rights on this homo polled, PA free sire!
