The beauty of crisp whites with a hint of citrus orange 🍊✨

Elegant, timeless and absolutely breathtaking.

When I design a table, it starts long before setup day. Sometimes it even starts at 3am when an idea pops into my head and I can’t stop thinking about it.

It’s never just about the colours. White and orange are only the beginning.

The white lace tablecloth, stone pieces trailing the table, crystal glassware and candle holders, citrus fruit woven through the styling, soft florals, white wave plates, gold cutlery, delicate blossoms resting on every place setting… every element is chosen with intention.

Did you notice them all?

This is the difference between styling a table and designing an experience.

When I create a grazing buffet, I create an experience.

I’m not like every other grazing business out there. With over 25 years as a chef and a passion for event styling, I combine both skills to create something truly special.

Every buffet I design is themed to suit the venue, the event and the feeling I want guests to experience. Every item is placed with intention.

When catering Rory Lane , I draw inspiration from the venue itself. The wine barrels, the atmosphere, even the smell of the winery influences my design. It’s all about bringing those elegant winery vibes to the suburbs.

The colours reflect a vineyard in autumn, rich burgundy, deep greens and touches of black for a moody elegance. Fresh foliage, grapevines and seasonal fruits bring the table to life. Grapes, plums, pears and even cute little eggplants all work together to tell the story.

Then comes the food. Premium cheeses, artisan meats, fresh bread, dips, fresh honeycomb and crackers. To finish the buffet, I add gourmet sliders, handmade arancini and freshly made wontons by BIG little catering co.

Every detail is carefully considered. Every element has a purpose. And every event is completely unique.

Paris-inspired elegance with a touch of bridal blue. ✨

I’ll admit, I’m usually the one reaching for pink, so this theme had my creative brain working overtime. But the result? Pure sophistication.

Think crystal details, soft shades of blue, touches of gold, and bold black accents, creating a timeless Parisian-inspired setting without a single pink flower in sight.

Every event we design becomes part of our styling collection, and this one has definitely earned a place among my favourites.

Learning is such an important part of what I do.

When you’re constantly creating unique experiences for your clients and looking for ways to stand out, sometimes you need to get your hands a little extra dirty!

Today I had the opportunity to attend the Women’s Workshop at the Pines Men’s Shed, where I started working on a special project that I can’t wait to bring to life.

From freshly made pizzas straight from the oven to beautiful finger food, every element was designed for guests to relax, enjoy and celebrate without the stress.
