🦋💜 I swear I stepped straight into a Barbie movie today… 💕🌿

The lavender was absolutely covered in butterflies this afternoon, dancing from flower to flower in the sunshine.

A little bit of lavender, a lot of butterflies, and the most beautiful reminder that sometimes the best things happening on the farm aren’t things you can plan or book.

Just magic. 🦋✨

Sometimes the best café visitors don’t even come in for a coffee. 🐦💙

This little Superb Fairywren stopped by our café window for a visit this morning.

One of the things we love about being here at Braidwood Farm Stay & Cafe is that you never quite know who’s going to wander past — horses in the paddocks, birds in the garden, and plenty of other little farm characters going about their day.

So if you’re staying with us, grab a coffee, sit for a while and keep your eyes open.

There’s usually something lovely happening just outside the window. 🌿

One of the best things about life at Braidwood Farm Stay & The Saddle Camp is that the wildlife is just… here. No wildlife park, no schedule — just beautiful Australian birds going about their day.

Come and stay awhile. You never know what you’ll see.

🌾 A little jar of homemade goodness…

There are some smells that just make you stop what you’re doing.

This was one of them. ❤️

Blake has been baking our own muesli for our Cafe — and when this batch came out of the oven, the whole kitchen smelled of warm cinnamon, honey and roasted almonds.

It’s made with oats, cinnamon, honey, butter, Australian almonds, pepitas, sunflower seeds, coconut, sultanas and cranberries.

And there’s a lovely story behind it…

Our friends at Prana Produce generously gifted us their muesli recipe, and we’re so grateful. ❤️

We’ve put our own little farm-stay spin on it and now each Tiny House gets a jar waiting for guests when they arrive.

Just a little “welcome to the farm” waiting on the bench. 🌾

So you can make yourself a bowl, pour a coffee, sit outside and watch the farm wake up around you.

POV: You picked the perfect time of year to go horse riding. 🌸🐴✨

Green grass. Spring flowers. Happy horses. Blue skies.

And that magical feeling of heading out on horseback while the whole farm seems to be waking up around you. 💚

Spring riding at Saddle Camp is pretty hard to beat.

And the food and accommodation onsite with Braidwood Farm Stay & Cafe is pretty wonderful too 💫

“The pot of gold is here”

Some mornings, the day starts with a little magic. 🌈

I stepped outside this morning to find a rainbow stretching across the mountains…

And I couldn’t help wondering — perhaps the pot of gold isn’t at the end of the rainbow.

Perhaps it’s right here at Braidwood Farm Stay. ✨

Fresh country air. Mountain views. Horses in the paddocks. A quiet cup of coffee on the verandah while the world wakes up.

Sometimes you don’t need to go anywhere to feel like you’ve escaped.

🦘☕️ Just another day at the café…

Looked out the window this morning to find one of our local visitors enjoying a quiet breakfast of her own. 🥰

There’s something pretty special about pouring a coffee, looking out the window and seeing wallabies relaxing around the garden.

And yes… that little face is absolutely adorable. ❤️

This is your reminder that sometimes the best farm-stay experiences aren’t the ones we plan — they’re the ones that wander past the window. 🌿🦘

🥖🌸 Blake baked baguettes, olive bread and currant loaves in baking class yesterday, then packed them into a basket for his grandparents today. ❤️

There’s something special about learning a skill and using it to make something for someone you love. Fresh bread, a sunny winter’s day and appreciated grandparents 🥖💕💫

🌿🐟 Look who’s moved into the dam! 🐟🌿

Today we welcomed 50 little silver perch fingerlings to their new home! 💦🐟

A huge thank you to Narrabri Fish Farm for supplying our new residents — and an even bigger thank you to YOU, our wonderful guests, for choosing to stay, ride, eat, explore and celebrate with us. ❤️

We really want you to know that your support is making all of these little farm dreams come together. The projects, the improvements, the animals, the gardens, the dam… it’s all happening because people like you keep choosing our little corner of the world. And honestly, we couldn’t be happier. 🥰

These little guys have a bit of growing to do, but in around 18 months they should be ready for fishing… and eventually making their way onto our dinner plates! 🎣🍽️

And watch this space! 👀 There’s a whole lot more planned for our little piece of paradise — a jetty, rotunda, fountain and fishing rods…

It’s pretty special watching the farm come together, one project at a time — and even more special knowing that our wonderful guests are helping make it happen.
