The Saddle Camp Where Your Riding Dreams Come To Life! Now's Your Chance! But the BIGGEST, most exciting part of The Saddle Camp is the other girls you will meet here.

Have you ever wanted to own your own horse, groom it to perfection, ride along mysterious trails, canter across open green fields and jump over any obstacles in your path? You can choose from 3 beautiful horses and ponies that are very quiet and experienced, to own for as long as you are here. You'll learn how to care for your horse, ride it, how to harness up and drive a horse & cart, play games on horse-back, ride bare-back, present your horse for a show and compete in a leading class, riding class, dressage test and show-jumping competition. You'll also ride around our 168 acre property and have a go on The Galloping Track, before riding down to the local swimming holes. We're all MAD about horses. You'll be riding out with 3 other girls and sharing a room with them at night - creating a friendship that will last forever…

There’s something pretty special about seeing The Saddle Camp through a guest’s eyes. 🥰

One of our lovely guests made this little video while she was here for her friend’s slumber party on the weekend — and I think she captured the feeling perfectly. ❤️

A bit of riding, a bit of farm life, friends together, cosy accommodation and plenty of laughter… with a country night away thrown in for good measure. ✨

This is exactly what we love about our little corner of the world — creating a place where kids can come together, make memories and have a proper adventure, while the grown-ups get to enjoy watching it all unfold.

Yes, I’m a Saddle Camp girl. 💕🐴

It’s horses.
It’s muddy boots and dusty clothes.
It’s learning how to look after a horse, not just sit on one.
It’s making friends, getting a little braver, having adventures… and probably finding a few new scratches and bruises along the way! 😂

And somewhere amongst all of that, you start to become a capable, confident young rider who understands horses and loves being around them.

That’s what we’re building at Saddle Camp.
Not just riders who can ride — but girls who can think, communicate and grow alongside their horse.

A very big thank you to the Bombay Rural Fire Brigade,
and especially Bombay RFS Members Steven Hockey and Bob Mills,
who have generously donated a defibrillator to be kept at The Saddle Camp.

And importantly, it’s here for everyone to use — not just our guests.

With horses, children, farm adventures and all sorts of heart-stopping fun happening around here, it’s wonderful to have this important piece of equipment on the property.

But we’re even more pleased that it can be a resource for our wider local community when it’s needed.

We’re very grateful to our local firies for looking after us — and we’re rather chuffed that little by little, Saddle Camp is becoming a place where the community comes together.

Perhaps we really are becoming the heart of the community! ❤️ #❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ‼️

Yesterday Champ and Harry had a little bit of time out with Mitch Greentree and his Pulse PEMF machine. 🐴💫

And honestly… they seemed pretty happy about it!

PEMF stands for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field therapy. The machine produces gentle, pulsed electromagnetic fields that pass through the body and interact with tissues.

For horses, the idea is to use these pulses to support the body’s normal cellular processes and circulation, and to encourage relaxation in muscles and soft tissues. It’s often used as part of recovery and general muscle care after work, travel or exercise.

It isn’t a massage, and it isn’t forcing the muscles to do anything — it’s a very gentle, non-invasive treatment that the horse simply stands and relaxes through.

Champ and Harry both looked very comfortable while Mitch worked over them, and we loved giving them a quiet recovery session after all the work they’ve been doing. ❤️

A little horse maintenance, a little relaxation… and apparently a very good excuse for two boys to stand around being pampered! 😂
