Carricowie Poll Merino Stud Carricowie Poll Merino stud was established in 1984. At Carricowie we are continuously striving to improve the genetics throughout our flock.

Our stud is renowned for breeding large framed sheep while carrying well nourished, bright, soft handling heavy cutting wool; a true dual purpose animal. For this reason, each year we embark on an A.I program, sourcing a range of different genetics from throughout Australia to help incorporate favorable characteristics into our flock. Each year our annual ram sale offers a selection of well grown younger rams, 15-16 months old all paddock reared with 4 and a half months’ wool growth; with auction, mini auction and private selection rams available. All rams are accredited Brucellosis free and vaccinated for O.J.D.
