It has a powerful meaning for the two of us and we went with it . We are family that has lived in the suburbs of Melbourne for 30 years and always talked that one day will move out to the country on a farm . Well we did it , and at this point we are preparing this place for a Bed and Breakfast , Fa
rm Stay Accommodation , with a few camping spots for caravans , camper trailers, tents or swags . We are 6 min by car from Briagolong , a small country town full of onest people with big hearts, a Country Pub that will impress a lot of you with it's authenticity and it's Beer Garden and it's meals, a small food store called Small Planet that has meals that need to be try-out , a General Store that will help you replenish your supply's , from food , a coffee to die for , to all your fuel needs . Also side of the road trading as you drive through town you will find , organic honey produce locally , local organic eggs from the free range chicken farm to fruits of the season. Our place is located at the foothills of Avon Wilderness, 8 min away from BLUE POOL GIPPSLAND and QUARRY RD CAMPING GROUND, we are minutes away from AVON RIVER , FREESTONE CREEK, MCALLISTER RIVER, and MARATHON RD BRIAGOLONG where we are located is a popular tourist destination for the 4X4 enthusiasts, Adventure bike riders and dirt bike riders as well. We are aiming to raise our animals on the farm an plant our own garden to be able to provide meals for our guests from our own farm . My wife cooking is an experience on it's own and that will be part of what we are aiming to share with our guests. We will produce our own goats and cow milk , eggs from our own chickens , meat from our own animals and vegetables from our garden. CARPE DIEM can offer you and your family a place from where to fill your body with positive energy, fresh air all day and night , on clear skies night , a spectacular star gazing experience , a place where all the birds will amaze you talking about birds we have living close by ,3 families of
WEDGE TAILS EAGLES , that when they are out hunting through the day , watching them fly is mesmerising. Part of the experience , for the ones interested in it, will be , looking after the farm animals , from feeding , cleaning , petting , milking and eggs collecting .
