Our drinks came first. So we built the food menu around them.

We think meals are better with good company. So we put a big communal table right in the middle of the restaurant.

And we think watching chefs work their magic is part of the experience. So we cook your meals right in front of you.

It might be a little unconventional. But it's very us.

A - All of them!

That's right - Shochu can be made from more than FIFTY approved base ingredients but sweet potato, barley, rice, buckwheat and sugar cane are the most common.

"What's koji"
A Japanese fungus used in fermentation to create flavour.

"What's shochu?"
A clear distilled Japanese spirit made from koji and a starchy base ingredient like rice or barley.

"Do you serve dinner?"
Yes! Four nights a week!

"Can we just come in for a drink?"
Yes!

"When are you open?"
Tuesday to Saturday from 1pm. Dinner is Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm.

"Do you make the spirits here?"
