The King’s Birthday long weekend is here – and with it comes the official kick-off of the ski season!🎉⛷️❄️

Falls Creek and Mt Hotham are already blanketed in fresh snow, looking like something out of a postcard, and the mountain buzz is well and truly on.

Why not swing by the Brewpub and make the journey part of the fun? Stretch your legs, dive into a hearty meal, and grab some takeaway beers to take with you up to the lodge. 🍻

Or stay a little longer and soak up those alpine vibes on our terrace – firepits crackling, gas heaters humming, and the perfect cosy atmosphere to ease into winter. 🔥

On Sunday, we’ve got local legend Adam Lindsay bringing the tunes with live acoustic covers on the Hop Terrace from 2–5pm. 🎶

We’re open daily from 11:30am ‘til late – so come by for a beer, a bite, and the ultimate winter warm-up before (or after!) the mountain. 🍺✨

It’s been just under 2 weeks since our local legends Sammy and Jimmy left with their bikes and headed off on a big bike adventure!!

Flying into Islamabad, Pakistan, they have already ridden their bikes over a 4000m pass and done a cheeky side quest hike into the foot one of the tallest mountains in the world, Nanga Parbat!

They’ve been escorted by police, shouted free meals, and been in a jeep along one of the most dangerous roads in the world.

Hopefully the adventures continue as there is still about another 7500km to ride, with who knows how many more side quests!

While we’re missing them at the Venue looks like they’re having a whirl of a time repping our mountain brand in some epic mountainscapes!

Winter is no longer coming. Winter is here. and we’re excited as a snow bunny about to head up the mountain.

We love this season.🤍

The air turns crisp, the peaks turn white, and our little corner of the world comes alive in a whole new way. Winter means snow-capped mountains, early morning drives up to Falls & Hotham, and those big, leg-burning days on the slopes before rolling back down to the valley.

It means ordering dark, rich porters and stouts, or our hands wrapped around a mulled cider, it means fires crackling, boots drying, stories flowing.

It means slowing down, leaning in, and getting cosy.

And it means Darker Days is just around the corner 👀

We’re stoked to call the base of the mountain home, our Alpine regions offers so much in every season.

We’re beyond pumped to welcome Garage Project to Darker Days this year.🍻

From humble nano-brewery beginnings in Wellington to globally sought-after innovators, these legends have built their name on one thing… pushing boundaries and having a whole lot of fun doing it.

Starting tiny, they’ve brewed over 900 beers and are still innovating like no one else. Still taking risks. Still trying something new. Still not playing it safe.

It’s a story we can get around - starting small, challenging expectations, and growing into something pretty special (if we do say so ourselves).

It’s easy to say they have long been at the top of our Darker Days wish list.
