September Bun: Cinnamon Bun with a Vanilla Bean Glaze and Fennel Sugar 🌼 Perfect for spring and pairs nicely with your morning coffee.

Snicker Ice Cream Sundae with Mum’s Hot Chocolate Fudge Sauce and Monkey Nuts

🛒 Ingredients:

- Jock’s vanilla ice cream
- Phillippa’s Monkey nuts, chopped

Mum’s Chocolate Sauce

- 75 g good quality Dutch cocoa powder 
- 1½ tablespoons golden syrup
- 120 ml water
- 375 g brown sugar
- 125 ml milk
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 50 g butter
- ½ teaspoon natural vanilla essence

🥣 Method:

To make the chocolate sauce, place the cocoa, golden syrup, water, sugar, milk and salt in a small saucepan. Simmer over low–medium heat, stirring regularly, for 10 minutes or until thick and smooth. Remove from the heat and beat in the butter and vanilla.

Scoop ice cream into glasses, pour over slightly warm chocolate sauce, and sprinkle chopped Monkey nuts generously over the top.

Note: Chocolate sauce can be stored in a glass jar in the refrigerator for up to a month.
