The weekly chilli harvest.
1)To make these hotter, let the soil dry completely out till the leaves begin to welt.
2) Add 1-2 Tablespoon's of garden lime each month during spring, summer & autumn.
3)Fertilise fortnightly with a liquid fertiliser & fortnightly with blood and bone.
4) Prune back hard after fruit has finished & repot with compost only at the start of spring..... Remember, everything grows better in the ground. However I've had tremendous success in large pots 3-400mm.

Holy cucumbers Batman!!! Letting these ones get even bigger for fully developed seeds for next year, the chooks & worms can have the rest as the cucumbers will probably be too bitter now.

4 worm farms now! I saved the old orange laundry tub from the yearly throw out here in Brisbane yesterday.
I drain all the worm wee once a fortnight & usually hit the 20 litre mark, I then add about 30 litres to the wheelie bin, add sulfate of potash according to the ratio & use once a month & use either blood & bone & or dynamic lifter the other 2 weeks. It's so much easier to use the bin, you simply dunk in a bucket or watering can in. No measuring every time but just give it a good stir every time you go to use it.
