It’s Dad’s day and breakfast was on the cards at ours.
Some steamed eggs, bacon and delicious sourdough which is a little different to the random things dad used to make when I was a kid.
There was the Vegemite soup, the omelette with pickled onions and the other concoctions that possibly should not have made it out of your head and onto a plate.
Happy Father’s Day Dad.
You’ve always worked hard so we could have the extras, provided a safe home, seen plenty of “man about a dog” (which explained absolutely nothing) and always been there for us all.
Were you perfect? Nah, but neither were we.
But you showed up, put up, loved us and stayed.
Big love to my dad, to my boys who are great dads too and to all the dads who do their best.

Another week, another sourdough to fall in love with.
Yes I’m the crazy lady who talks to it sweetly as we stretch and fold and says goodnight when I tucked her in for the night.
Sauna time in the oven and she comes out glowing and golden.

But then the best bit is slicing off the end and lathering it with butter and Vegemite.

What would you put on that first warm slice?

Who do you know? 🌿

The person who has wanted a ThermomixÂŽ forever.

“I’d love one, but…”
“Not in the budget.”
“Maybe one day.”
“Not right now.”

Here’s my ask:

Don’t decide for them.

Don’t decide they can’t afford it.
Don’t decide they won’t be interested.
Don’t decide now isn’t their time.

And most importantly, don’t not invite them because you’ve already assumed the answer will be no.

This isn’t about incentives, trips or goodies.

It’s about making sure the person who’s been waiting, wanting and wishing actually knows what’s possible.

They can make their own decision. ❤️

And tonight I’m putting all the selling stuff aside and doing what I actually love…

🌿 Bowl Blade & Yum has had a little glow-up…

If you’ve noticed things looking a little different around here, you’re not imagining it.

Bowl Blade & Yum is now Thyme to Mix.

BBY has been part of my Thermomix® world for a long time, and I’ve loved it — but somewhere along the way, what I do became about so much more than a bowl, a blade and something yum.

It became about helping people cook with more confidence.

Making dinner easier.

Learning new things.

Gathering around tables.

Helping people discover what a ThermomixÂŽ could actually change in their everyday life.

And building a community around all of it.

So it felt like thyme. 😉🌿

Thyme to Mix feels more like where I am now — warm, useful, a little bit playful and very much me.

Nothing you love is disappearing. Same Chris. Same ThermomixÂŽ. Same food, laughs, questionable experiments and enthusiasm for feeding people.

Just a new name, a fresh home and plenty more to come.
