Hi Jindalee community!

Many of you know exactly who we are but in case you didn’t here is a little about us:

We are your local Jindalee butcher shop established in 1964 by David Wellauer. 1964 - the year the centenary bridge opened, Mary Poppins was released and two years prior to the opening of Jindalee state primary.

After 57 odd years David has seen Jindalee grow from a little suburb of roughly 2,500 people to 6,000 people. Overcoming many hurdles like the 2011 floods and the recent COVID lockdowns.

We provide the freshest and highest quality meat locally sourced so it can end up on your dinner plate. Our staff are experts in wholesale and retail butchery but more importantly we are able to give you great cooking tips and tricks to best prepare your meal.
