Just a heads up on the temporary jars you may be seeing now…. The middle jar is a temporary jar that we filled for the short supply gap between our old imported jars and our new Aussie made jars. We were fortunate to source temporary jars, as we literally needed truck loads, and jars are in short supply in Australia at the moment. As you can see, there is a little extra headspace in the temporary jar. Rest assured all jars are machine check-weighed after hand filling to ensure they contain the labelled minimum weight of 410g. Once stock has cleared, you will start seeing the new Australian made jars that arrived last week! Fellow businesses, if you need jars, and can order by the full pallet, send us a PM and we’ll introduce you to our temporary jar supplier as they have more available.

Thank you to all our loyal customers who have helped us achieve the volume required to be able to custom make our wide mouth jars here in Australia. Posted • I can’t believe I haven’t made a zucchini fritter with all of the zucchini’s we have 🤷♀️ so for breakfast this morning I made a GF low carb zucchini and sweet potato (1/4 sweet potato to bind the recipe) fritter with Beetroot Cashew Cream Cheese, scrambled eggs and gravlax 😋 so filling and a great way to use up the spring onions and zucchini from our garden 💚🌱

We are super excited to introduce you to our newest dip; Gherkin 🥒. This delicious, creamy, chunky, crunchy and tangy probiotic dip is available now on our website. Also coming to a stockists near you very soon. We’ve made this one with our fermented cucumbers, cashews, garlic and onion. It’s of course not sweet like other sugar filled regular gherkin dips, it’s sour and tangy. We love to eat it on burgers, veggies sticks, toast or crackers, with fish, chicken or tofu and cheese or as a salad or potato salad dressing. Also just with a spoon straight from the jar 😆. Hope you love it as much as we do.

Bowl features vegan kimchi which I found 👌🏼👌🏼 Recipe for my Spicy tahini lemon dressing 🍋🌶 1/2 cup tahini
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp sriracha or chilli sauce
1/4 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp warm water (adjust for thickness)
Add all ingredients in a jar and shake vigorously to combine 🤗

INGREDIENTS: (4 Bowls)
1 pack of noodles
1 & 1/2 cups shredded purple cabbage
1 cup shredded carrots
1/2 cup finely chopped green onion
1 small red bell pepper, cored and thinly sliced
1 medium cucumber, seeded and thinly sliced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro
PEANUT SAUCE
1/2 cup natural creamy peanut or almond butter
2 tbsp tamari
2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
1-2tbsp coconut sugar
1-2 tsp ground ginger or
- Minced Organic Ginger
1-2 tsp garlic powder (or 1 clove fresh or fermented garlic paste
pinch of crushed red pepper / chili (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook soba noodles as directed. Strain and rinse with cold water to keep from sticking together.

Meanwhile prepare the peanut-lime sauce by combining the peanut butter, tamari, and rice wine vinegar in a small bowl. Add 1 tablespoon coconut sugar, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon garlic powder and 2-4 tablespoons of water to thin, as needed. Taste test to see if you prefer more vinegar, coconut sugar, ginger, or garlic powder. You may also want to add salt if your peanut butter is unsalted. Add crushed red pepper and whisk until smooth.

Divide cooked soba noodles into 4 separate bowls and top with chopped vegetables. Serve with peanut sauce and enjoy!

Happy new year everyone!!! 2013 was a massive year for us. As a family we've worked so hard and have achieved so so much. We all did GAPS intro and both kids regained their health and 5kg each. I started my Kehoe's Kitchen FB blog to share my GAPS recipes. Then built the website, started selling equipment and importing fermentation crocks, started writing a cook book, built a commercial kitchen and we're now selling properly prepared organic GAPS and Paleo wholefood products at our market stalls. Kehoe's Kitchen is growing at a fantastic rate and we'd like to thank you all for your support, feedback, loyalty and encouragement. We are excited to see what 2014 has in store for us as a family and new small business. I thought i'd share this little video with this post as it warms my heart, motivates and inspires me. As you can see, my princess is far from shy anymore. She is happy, beautiful and healthy. Happy new year, listen with your heart:))
