🚨 Registrations close today to attend one of the Qld Productivity Commission's regional consultations on the EPBC reforms 🚨

Over the past six months, AgForce has been leading the advocacy effort on behalf of Qld producers regarding the Commonwealth's EPBC reforms. The government has heard from AgForce. Now they need to hear from Qld producers. AgForce CEO, Niki Ford, talks further about why producers should get involved 👇

Primary producers impacted by the Western Qld Floods in early 2025 can apply for up to $500,000 to rebuild damaged or destroyed fences and help protect livestock.

📣 AgForce recommendations to strenghten biosecurity

In our latest media release, AgForce is calling for Queensland's Biosecurity Regulation to better recognise landholder biosecurity plans and strengthen compliance requirements for third parties accessing agricultural land.

AgForce General President Shane McCarthy and AgForce CEO Niki Ford highlight that it's often landholders who are left carrying the economic, regulatory and reputational consequences when biosecurity risks are not properly managed.

AgForce will continue advocating for a practical, effective biosecurity framework that empowers producers to manage risk and protect Queensland agriculture. 🚜🐄🐑

The Australian Agriculture Awards honour farmers, agribusiness leaders, and industry professionals whose vision and dedication are shaping the future of this essential sector.

The awards are a joint initiative from Australia’s peak national body representing farmers, the National Farmers' Federation, and ACM Agri.

The award categories include:

🌱 Sustainability in Agriculture
🌱 Innovation in Agriculture
