Episode 4: Finding the Honest Butcher
We've got another winner—Rode Meats at Stafford Heights, QLD! Congratulations to Will and his team, who take great care in crafting their sausages. When it comes to quality, they don’t cut corners.
The Turbo Ziegler & Brown BBQ will never lie, and the Ziggy range always delivers because of its extreme heat. But the key to great sausages is finding the right butcher.
So far, in no particular order, the best butchers for our Beef Thin Sausage test are:

* Wavell Heights Gourmet Meats
* Aldi

Spitroast lamb with skewed chicken wings penetrated into it. What an entree, crispy mouthwatering chicken with lamb juices dripping onto it as it spins around. The Lazyman way 😀👍

Episode three of finding the honest butcher. If I was going to put a defining moment in my career, this is it!!! exposing the big supermarkets selling unhealthy sausages. Two of them had one and a half stars ratings and the other I couldn’t find a rating. Two of these brands, I could possibly use as firestarters to start my charcoal barbecue. Please share this post and expose yet again the Problems supermarkets have today not only with growers but also how they make Products? One of these three supermarkets was a hero and the other two were a fire hazard 🔥

This is a brisket!!!not a shark. Smoked for 5hrs 22min and not wrapped. At 203f into the esky without ice!! For 3hrs. Probably won’t wrap again ever. Might use my pink paper for Xmas presents 🎁. 87f for about 2 hrs, then 320f for the remaining. Entree of chicken wings helped keep the family happy before dinner.

How to control the heat on the Ziggy one burner, when using as an oven. Cover the grill with 80% heavy duty aluminium foil. On low 144c but the gauge is on 216c. On low, covering the grill with 50% foil we achieve 212c and 260c on the gauge. The 80% technique, you will need to turn it up for lunch. The 50% technique you will be complaining about burnt pies etc.

Satay chicken wings in the Air fryer, versus the BBQ in the Footy finials. Well the Air fryer played like the Warriors and the BBQ played like the Broncos. The BBQ was crisper and had more flavour, judged by 5 attendees. Cleaning the bbq in 58 seconds and the Air fryer was a nightmare 😱 The new ThermoPro instant read, one second response time made testing so easy. The Chicken wing kebab movement has just begun. 🍕 was incredible 👌

Smoked chicken wings using the the Cdrack. This is the best kept secret for pizzas, sausage rolls, spring rolls, party pies, defrosting, chips, roasting meat, veggies, kebabs, fish etc and sold at BBQ Galore Logan $59.95. Third rack $24.95 🥳👍
