Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA has arrived in Brisbane from Aug 1 to Oct 4 and we were invited to the premiere. The upgraded VIP lounge made the night feel beautifully intimate with curated canapés and bar refreshments before the show and again at intermission. The performance itself was absolutely magical, a beautiful mix of wonder and artistry that stayed with us long after the final moment.

We recently enjoyed an indulgent lunchtime at Tenya AYCE in the heart of Brisbane Quarter. Modern Japanese dining with beautiful hot and cold selections, Alaska king crab, bugs, oysters, prawns and sashimi prepared with finesse. With plenty of premium options for non seafood lovers, it’s the perfect spot for a relaxed and luxurious dining escape.

Fridays at Manly Boathouse Manly Boathouse

What makes a Friday afternoon feel special for you because for us it started at Manly Boathouse with Sip and Shuck from 4-7pm on the Patio soaking up the bayside atmosphere. We enjoyed oysters, scallops and live music setting the mood for golden hour. When the sun slipped away we wandered inside for dinner with beautiful water views and an enjoyable night of delicious food. If you haven’t tried a Friday here yet, it’s such a lovely way to ease into the weekend.

Brazzos Smokehouse serves beautiful Brazilian barbecue food, and we loved our visit to their Chermside store Brazzos Smokehouse

The Costela Burger was smoky and juicy, and the Brazilian mixed platter was packed with tasty smoked meats.
Seeing their slow‑cooking process up close showed how much passion goes into every plate.
If you’re keen for Authentic Brazilian barbecue, Brazzos is at Chermside, the Sunshine Coast, and on Uber Eats.

What’s better than a Brisbane brekkie spot dropping a fresh new menu Famished on Frasers

Famished on Frasers has some delicious new dishes and our standout was definitely the Mush & Spuds,
so cosy and full of flavour. We also tried the Mini Dubai Chocolate Pancake Stack, Spanner Crab Omelette, Mapo Turkish Egg and their new lattes.

Dog friendly, gluten free and vegetarian friendly, and one of Brisbane’s best neighbourhood breakfast cafés. Famished on Frasers is always worth the visit.

Who’s obsessed with table-side cheese wheel moments? 😋

Nothing beats watching your cacio e pepe get tossed through that giant Pecorino Romano wheel right beside your table at Spaghetti House The spaghetti comes out so silky with that perfect peppery kick. We added burrata with roasted grapes to start and tiramisu to finish because why not.
Be sure to book, it’s available Tuesday nights till the last Tuesday in July only and it’s just $28 per person.

We had the loveliest evening for their Duck Dinner, available from 1 to 30 June. The space felt so calm and elegant and the team looked after us with such exceptional service. Every part of the meal was outstanding and Executive Chef Gerald Ong has created a truly memorable experience.
