With most dishes UNDER $35, it’s giving premium flavours without the premium price tag 😍

📍This is Fat Noodle located inside The Star Casino, Brisbane City

The must-order? Their signature Bun Cha✨

The smoky char from the grilled pork paired with fresh herbs, pickles and vermicelli was easily the highlight of the night 👍🏻

The Hainanese chicken was equally impressive, juicy, tender and served with fragrant rice that let the quality of the ingredients shine 🤌🏻🤌🏻

Locals have been keeping this one to themselves, but it’s too good not to share 🤫👀

Hidden amongst the busy streets of District 1, this charming cafe feels like stepping into a different world. While the city rushes by outside, inside you’ll find warm lighting, shelves of books, vintage home decor, and the kind of cosy atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours 🫶🏻

No wonder most of the customers here are locals 🙌🏻🙌🏻

They’re not chasing trendy drinks, creative photo spot or pushing virality, pure focus on serving delicious drinks and a quiet spot for people to catch up with friends or study 😮‍💨

This spot isn’t the easiest to find cause it’s a hidden gem, no elevator, just climbing stairs to reach the destination 😮‍💨

The cafe spans two levels, with a balcony that’s perfect for people-watching and soaking in Saigon’s energy from above. A peaceful little sanctuary in the middle of the chaos ✨

Last night we got to witness something pretty special at Mr. Tall Pork Noodles 🫣

What started as a home cook’s dream turned into a packed service, with Uncle Chris serving up 128 plates of Char Kuey Teow in just four hours 😍🙌🏻

We joined the crowd, grabbed a plate, and honestly 😮‍💨 the wok hei was there. Every bite tasted, showed passion and dedication to the craft that went into making this night happen 🥹

Massive respect to everyone behind the scenes and to everyone who queued up to support 🙌🏻 Safe to say this wasn’t just dinner it was a milestone well deserved by .chr1s ✨

who’s asian parents also made this soup to cure your cold? 🫪

truly works miracles in soothing sore throat but also a tasty dessert 😌

recipe is simple (practically eyeball measurement and season to preferred taste)

it’s only a four ingredient soup but you can add more ingredients in to boost the benefits 😗

- Asian Pear
- Snow Mushroom Fungus
- Jujube Dates
- Goji Berries

PLUS water and sugar ✨

I also added ginger to reduce inflammation and boost circulation and dried longan for natural sweetness instead of sugar
