Crusher Wines x Silk Laundry Brisbane collab dropping when? 🍷 👀 Our pleasure to spend the afternoon alongside the silk laundry team celebrating community & craftspersonship!

Our collab pop-up ran alongside the James Street food + wine trail which, as Sarah Baldwin rightly pointed out, suffered from a verrrry male dominated line up.
Yawn, it's just lazy and also boring at this stage??!! Women and non-binary creatives are literally fascinating to listen to & learn from, and are con.sis.tent.ly underrepresented on larger stages in the food, wine, viticulture, agriculture, et al., et al. stages.
(But, peek below the surface to the DIY & community spaces and we're thriving, we know how to do it right 💪)

I was honoured to fly the femme-flag on this day and have such inspiring, interesting women come thru and raise a glass together.

In this beautiful, creative ecolosystem we're nurturing together, we meet and collaborate with so many smart & passionate people from across the creative disciplines; from music, art, film, science, fashion, business, tech, farming & more....we love our diverse community and how fu***ng supportive they are of everyone! Always bringing it back to local, lifting each other up & connecting people together. It is always one of our favourite things about this beautiful city and the incredible wine community we have across the continent.

This is the hill we'll die on 🫡

We’re keeping the good times rolling with a fun little thing with the Lo-Fi Wines extended family next Wednesday the 5th of August. (How is it August already?!?)

Big momentous day for us, filling the Qvevri for the first time! This is the next stage of a project that we’re very excited for, being a rolling, Solera-style Chardonnay project. Currently, she’s a mix of 2023-2026 Chardonnays with varying degrees of skin contact across the years.

She’s lively, textural and bright at the moment so we’ll see how it goes over the next 7ish months until next years Chardonnay comes in. The plan is to bottle mid-harvest and top up with 2027’s juice. Best laid plans and all that though.

Taking a look at everything in the winery with some nice light to boot. Some bottling done with more to go, racking day today and blends are looking vv nice. Overall, a great year for us with some wines that we are very excited for.

Taking stock after a few big weeks in the trade with our little winemaker in tow. We visited Hobart and Melbourne for the first time (with our wines) and met so many excellent people and visited some incredible venues, with two dope events along the way where we got to chat s**t and all things Queensland wine. At the same time, we had our wines on the pour in 4 states and were getting messages from across the country with stock enquiries and general questions. Orders to Margaret River, Sunny Coast and Adelaide.

Made it? Who knows. We loved meeting everyone, we have next to no wine left in stock and we’re feeling pretty stoked on the whole thing.

Beautiful, chilly Nipaluna! We’ll be down your way in two weeks, showing our wines in person for the very first time.

Come through .leaves.left.hobart from 2pm on Thursday the 18th to chat s**t and shop and try the wines! Clinton has been a huge support of us from afar so it’s going to be great to be instore finally. We’ll have the new wines, plus a couple of oldies in the mix.

Can’t wait to see you all!

She's travelled a long way, and during the journey we've had so many conversations with friends & fellow winemakers all across the country as to how best move / install / maintain 😅

Thanks to everyone who has shared their highs, lows & learning curves with us, winemakers are truly where the Venn diagram of alchemists, Tetris geniuses & DIY optimists overlap.

Feeling chuffed & looking forward to many delicious years to come (and adding to the collection 🏺🏺🏺🏺🏺)
