But right now it’s not easy.
Recent weather events across the Country have damaged roads and infrastructure, making it harder to move produce. At the same time, global tensions are pushing fuel prices higher.
Rising input costs are squeezing already tight margins.
The pressures are relentless.
Yet across the industry, farmers and produce businesses are still showing up every day - harvesting crops, supporting their workers and doing whatever it takes to keep fresh produce moving.
