Great weekend had at Meatstock Toowoomba. Such an awesome barbecue and music festival. We managed a mixed bag of results, but walked away really happy with the cook.
6th place Brisket, 8th place Pork and 11th place pork ribs were the highlights. We came 13th overall, out of a very competitive pool of 46 teams. Congratulations to Dusty Que for cleaning up with GC and Smokeface Grillas with the RGC.
Thanks to Ironwood Barbecue for the Jackalope Trading Co rubs used throughout the days cooking.
The Butcher Shoppe - Cannon Hill for coming through for us at last minute with some quality lamb and Smoked BBQ Co for getting in the brisket of choice from Rangers Valley.

Smokin in the downs at Oakey is on this weekend, Friday /Saturday.
Big thanks to Bryce and his team at Super Butcher browns plains for supplying the top quality meats we will be using.
Looking forward to cooking and catching up with all the bbq family again.

Walked away with 4 trophies and a 3rd and 4th overall.
Happy with all the proteins, and as usual the pit from Stockyard Smokers ran beautifully.

Setting up for the Brisbane BBQ festival.
For the first time ever, the Australiasian BBQ Alliance are running a doubleheader. That means a full comp on Saturday and a full comp on Sunday. This is going to be epic!
We are quietly confident so fingers crossed we bring home some bling. If you are in Brisbane, come along to the festival. It runs all weekend, has plenty of BBQ vendors, entertainment, bars, and rides for the kids.
