One of our retirees thriving at his new life post racing!💖
Congratulations to Chachi and Nicole Willett for qualifying in the QOTT cup final and we wish you the very best of luck!✨
🏇 Introducing Qualifier #5 for the Pacific Fair Magic Millions Polo & Showjumping 2025 QOTT Cup Final! 🌟
Meet Nicole Willett and her talented 9-year-old grey gelding, "Quik Silver", affectionately known as Chachi (formerly raced as "Easy Instincts")! 🐴
Career Highlights: 2 starts for no wins or placings. Chachi retired from racing in 2019 and has since transitioned into a successful Showjumping career 💫
Chachi may not have had a long career on the racetrack, but what he lacks in race wins, he more than makes up for with his cheeky personality and sharp mind! 😋
As his owner Nicole shares, “Chachi isn’t cuddly by nature - he’s more of a troublemaker, always on the lookout for mischief, or a piece of liquorice!” 🍬
Nicole discovered Chachi as a handsome 3-year-old when she purchased him from a photo, proving that sometimes, love at first sight really does happen! 💖
He was originally named by his previous owner, Russell Redenbach, after the character Chachi from the classic TV show 📺 Happy Days (a fitting name for this cheeky character).
➡️ Now, five years later, Chachi is proving to be a star ✨ off the track with impressive placings at the Thoroughbred Sport Horse Association National Titles 🏆 He’s still young and learning, but with his bright future ahead and undeniable talent, we can’t wait to see what’s next for this rising star in the showjumping world! 🌠
Stay tuned as we continue to profile more qualifiers for the QOTT Cup Final on Sunday, 5th January 2025 at the Gold Coast! 🏖️🌊
