Update.
For those of you that are playing along at home 🙂

Plants.

To continue with the jam, preserves and sweets I do need to obtain a food license and cook in a licensed kitchen- which I have no issue with.

Local council are not making the rules they are following them from QLD GOV and QLD HEALTH.

A few interesting things I did discover while researching:
Non for profit organisations do not need licenses- just need to follow the guide lines and can sell 12 times a year. So anyone can bake/cook in thier home kitchen and donate to them for them to sell.
Once you start reading the do and don’t s the whole country has gone crazy.

Due to a complaint to council, the sale of Jams, Preserves and sweets has to cease immediately.

We would like to thank everyone for supporting us.

We are working towards a solution.

We are saddened that someone from out of town made the report and has ruined it for the amazing locals that visit weekly.

Keep an eye on the page for updates.

We will still sell surplus fruit and vegetables.
