Big day at Pica’s kitchen today!
Today we delivered our first sushi boxes to the Jalbingan. Pica’s Kitchen has been sustained by uncountable support from Broome local community, and I hope this marks our very first step in giving back to the community.
My hope is that one day, when these residents look back, they will remember the taste of my sushi on their very first day—as a comforting, unforgettable memory marking the beginning of their brand-new start in life. 🍣✨
We are also providing free school lunches for their children until their mothers are settled.
